We hated it!

The lobby area and front stairway were the only attractions of the hotel. After hearing the air conditioning system was TO OPEN THE WINDOW!, we realized now that we should have exited then! The elevator was very rickety and we were happy we made it to our floor. Our room was absolutely tiny...like shoebox tiny! I confused the bathroom door with the room door bcs they were so close together! We hated it!! There was not a shred of luxury or comfort in our $450+ room!! The hotel was extremely understaffed. We actually felt sympathy for the lone representative at the front desk. Room service was unavailable, spa was closed, and we started questioned how capable the hotel would be to provide CLEAN linens and bath items! We will never recommend this hotel!!

Well the building is old but the charm of it outranked the smallness of the bathroom, or lack of water pressure....lol. I loved my stay there. The hotel staff were awesome, and especially the guy who checked us in. Younger guy, dark hair, don't remember his name, but he was super friendly and even offered lots of suggestions about local scenes that we should check out. He went way beyond just being friendly and made, what was my birthday celebration all the better.

Upon arrival there was no valet or assistance with luggage and parking was confusing. You could not find a luggage cart and carts couldn’t go in parking garage. The room had no AC or Heat. It was muggy and dark. The ice machine was broken and when I called front desk I was put on hold and no one picked up. The line at front desk was over 10 people long so it was hard to get to talk to anyone. The room was over $500 a night but felt like a cheap motel.

Amazing! Classic. Luxurious Jr Suite. Friendly and helpful staff. Only disappointment was to learn Reiner's was closed Mon & Tues when we were staying. Not listed on website. However, Front desk person had made a personal map detailing their fav nearby restaurants. We went to Rosalina’s and probably had the best pasta meal and tiramisu ever. Overall, a wonderful local getaway.
