The property is tried, hallways to the rooms feel old and dirty. Horrendous building work going on which we hadn’t been informed of, full of families, breakfast was an absolute disaster, tables not being cleared, some days there were no tables at all and we had to sit at the bar. As no one has a clue what’s going on. Not the experience we expected. Would definitely not recommend this property.

Hotel was clean apart from the pools, they obviously had problems with the filtering because they had temporary filtering systems in place. Be aware you cannot enter your room until 3pm no matter what time you arrive. There is a construction site next to pool one, it’s very noisy and at one point a wooden tree branch come flying over the fence and just missed my husband. Very disappointing, however if the pools were cleaner and there had been no construction site, it would of been a nice place to stay, it’s very central to Karon beach with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Avoid avoid avoid Thls hotel has a major sewerage smell problem. The stench in my room was mild at first but then became so bad I woke feeling ill. I could taste the smell in my mouth, Revolting. Only after me complaining 4 times did management take any action. The put an oil burner in my room to mask the smell. One candle and it went out. Smell returned. New room offered on my last night, Other guest also said they had same issue. Disgusting

Very well location at the heart of Karon and super close to Kata beach! The hotel has amazing design, very minimalist ans eco friendly however it has thin walls. They should consider putting families with kids at a certain wing rather than mixed with other adults because you can hear everything from rooms next door or below. Otherwise this hotel is greaf; they do amazing bbqs for the guests, vast choices of breakfast, value for money AND the staff are super kind. Thanks!

Overall this hotel is good. And even though it is still being built. It’s not an issue. It just isn’t very pretty in some places but all the bits that count are nice. I think the overall gripes with this hotel is the general cleanliness. The pool area and general surroundings need a regular clean. The room was cleaned well but there was always plates etc outside peoples room that stayed there for days at a time. And then a lot of the staff all felt very young and inexperienced. Which complicated a lot of the communication and ordering etc.

Family Holiday

The rooms are a bit dated and internet is fair to good. There is plenty to do nearby and the hotel provides a shuttle (at discounted price) to nearby Patong mall. The hotel and surrounding area had a party atmosphere. The hotel does a v. good job of accommodating guests needs. Our room was damp and the hotel was able to change us to another room. The pools were nice and the children enjoyed the water slide. The resort also tries hard to put reasonably priced extra activities together for young children like pool games or cupcake decorating class. I was surprised by the 10% surcharge at the resort/hotels which was on top of the 7% VAT and the TIP. What I would normally TIP decreased because of the surcharge. I was told that the surcharge was separate then the tip and would go the hotel. I think a surcharge is appropriate but only if it is as a tip to increase the living wages of those in the service industry not the bottom line for the hotel profits.

The resort was well located, the staff where very friendly and helpful, unfortunately the resort is overdue for a make over, the rooms are dark and musty. There is no lift in the wings so carrying suitcases down stairs is not the best.
