Great location, about a 10-minute drive from the airport and right behind the ferry terminal. The reception staff were friendly, and the showers and toilets were kept clean. The Polynesian Cabin double room has a bit of an odd layout since you have to climb a ladder to get into the bed. Overall, it’s fine for a one-night layover in Papeete.

So easy after a middle of the night arrival and a middle of the night departure 10 days later. We moved to the main Kon Tiki hotel rooms which were stunning inbetween staying at the cabins.
