The Inn was a gem for our stay in Faribault. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. I loved the historic charm and architecture combined with modern updates. The breakfast/snack area was well stocked and the property well maintained. I had no problem using the communal refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed walking the campus grounds and hiking the trails nearby. It snowed during my stay and the campus was quite beautiful covered in a blanket of white! Would love to stay again!

Unique place with wonderful service and comfy beds

The place had such charm with the building looking like it should be in Europe somewhere with its unique design. It was tucked back in the woods on a beautiful prep school campus. The staff were wonderful and helpful and even told Us about the history of the place and how they decided to make the building a place for guests to stay. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy and felt like home instead of an hotel room. Breakfast had choices of breakfast sandwiches you could heat up, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt and fresh fruit. They had an assortment of coffee, tea and hot chocolate in KCups to pick from. And some delicious homemade peanut butter that they make and sell there on campus. If you needed the microwave or fridge it was a full size fridge that was community shared, for the 12 rooms. The trails around the place in the woods behind it looked like they would have been fun, had we had time to explore them.

Found a gem

This is an amazing property. We stayed one night for our son's NCAA soccer tournament but, we are considering making a longer stay in the future. There is plenty of outdoor recreation in the area. The room was spacious and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Nice place to stay. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was very simple, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, muffins . There was a microwave and toaster with some bagels also. All in a nice little nook. The beds and pillows were not that comfortable. My own opinion, somebody else might think there great.

It’s a very cool place. Very clean and modern, but it’s kind of off the beaten path and there is not a restaurant on the property. Can’t rate the staff because all she did was give me a key.
