For the price, I guess you get what you get. There were several people wandering the hallway that looked like they were down on their luck, one asked me for money for the vending machine. Additionally, it was a hot day, and the air conditioning was not working--they offered a fan, which was helpful. If the priced dropped another $25 for this location, I would not hold it to this higher standard of hotels.

Hotel not maintained

This hotel is clearly not being maintained. Our toilet did not work, the manager downstairs was kind (but seemingly the only staff member on site), we was able to locate a plunger and give it to us (to plunge the toilet ourselves). Ultimately we chose not to use the toilet in the room and is the one in the lobby. AC did not work, making for a very hot night of sleeping. Air vents in the room haven’t been cleaned/changed in a long time. Beds were ok.

Overall the stay was good. The temperature was decent and we were able to sleep. The breakfast was good for a hotel downtown.This is a pretty good hotel just needs a little TLC. It could be what it once was. I would stay here again.

The hotel is disgusting. Tub was not clean, floors were sticky, not swept. The hotel in general is in disrepair. The hotel also was very hot, there was no air conditioning our entire stay.

The AC in our unit did not work, and the tub was leaking, stained, and unusable. It could be such a cute spot with some renovations! Great bones. My bed also smelled a little like pee. It was fine for a night.

I don’t know why I got all the way through the check-in process to be told that the air conditioning system is down. It’s about 80° in the room. Seems like something that should be disclosed at booking considering I booked 20 minutes before.

The staff here were really good considering the deplorable state of this place. This hotel is seriously not a Red Lion hotel. Only one set of towels for the both of us, desk and chair in room are really torn and scratched, there is no air conditioning so they put us on the street side, second floor where “it is cooler.” We are looking not at the street but a puddle of water on the first floor roof, a train is directly beside and underneath our room, and we are hearing drunks yelling if we open up the window to get fresh air. Oh yeah, most ice machines don't work either. They did give us a box fan to move the stale air in our room around. DON’T STAY HERE! Red Lion and Expedia should be ashamed to have listed this as a viable place to spend a night. I will be contacting Washington State Department of Health and Washington Hospitality Association to complain and to recommend they shut this place down. Red Lion and Expedia just lost a long time, loyal customer.

One towel in room no wash rags, toilet would not flush, bathtub clogged filled up with dirty water coming from the faucet, reported, seeking full refund. Cleaner came into the room before check out time making customers leave early. Front desk said they have no control over the staff there. Hotel manager not being available for contact. Was told towels was not being washed so they had no which is against Public health regulations.

The bathtub coating is disintegrating so the underneath/inside of the structure is showing, leaving large holes...very disturbing and looks dirty. The property is very old and needs updating drastically.

Was labeled as non refundable on expedia upon arriving and checking we were told there ac was out and that they weren't going to ve able to get it working but we were more then welcome to go to another motel or hotel around there. This place was disgusting and we will never consider staying again. We noticed we had blood on our bedding that soaked through the comforter and 3 sheets. We called the front desk for new ones as we know accidents can happen but it was still unsanitary. The receptionist told us we could come downstairs to get new ones, she gave us a trash bag to bag up the bloody bedding ourselves. We went upstairs to make out bed and realized she gave us a comforter with an even bigger blood stain!! She refused to give us a refund and argued that there was no blood anywhere and tried to say we lied about having pictures. DO NOT STAY HERE!
