The sliding door didn't not lock. The shower was used before bed and then it leaked, loudly, all night long. It was repaired the next day. The stove burners were not flat. The ceiling was peeling. The phone didn't work.

This could be an amazing spot if the company took time to update the interior and find a better cleaning team, as it is right next to beach entry and shops. When we arrived no staff told us the reality of the situation, we had to find out from a disgruntled guest that it had flooded the day before and there was no hot water. When we did ask the staff they said it would be fixed that night or next morning at the latest. So we stayed thinking it might not smell good or be cleaned properly, but it is right next to the beach. The floor in our room was dirty, there were questionable stains on the walls of the bathroom, and pubes in the bathtub. Our “balcony” was a not so private entrance to the pool/bar which meant we couldn’t ever open our curtains and could hear everyone at the pool/bar. Finally the next morning there was still no hot water, and after asking what our options were they told us we could get the remainder of our trip refunded if we left immediately. They would not refund us the night we stayed, even though we only stayed because they said it would be fixed. Leaving immediately meant by 11am, most other hotels don’t allow check in until around 3pm. So we were stuck with all our things in our car until 3pm and basically lost a day of our trip dealing with cancelling and finding a new place. Just felt predatory and we would never go back.

Stayed here 3 years ago and absolutely loved it. Staff was so nice and it was clean and comfortable. This time it was filthy and staff literally reached over me to lock up breakfast. Was very uncomfortable and disappointing. My infant was crawling on the floor in our room and when we picked her up the toes of her sneakers and the knees of her jeans were black from how dirty the floor was. The bathroom was dirty and there was hair left on the toilet and in the tub. The faucet in the tub was about to fall off. There was something splattered and dried on the wall in the kitchen and bathroom door. One of the beds had what looked to be blood stains on it and more splattering of something on the wall above the beds. Price was affordable but would happily pay more for cleanliness and friendly service.

Motel needs to be updated and cleaned. The rusty refrigerator made a consistant clicking sound throughout the night. The bathtub was dirty. Moldy furniture on the deck along with oreo cookies and a brown fudge-like substance that I covered up with a towel. Air condition was leaking a wet green substance that I also covered up with a different towel. When I asked about the condition of the room and said I was leaving, the person at the front desk immediately offered a refund for the next two days (I only had to pay for one night.) There was no discussion of offering a different room, so my three night stay turned into one night and I went home. Icing on the cake is that the motel didn't give me the promised refund. A week later the full charge was still on my credit card bill! I had to dispute the charge through my credit card.

Fire alarm system was tested at 7:00 am. Pipe broke and water was all over the hallways. There was pink mold in the toilet and black mold in the shower. Last of all there was no hot water in the shower.

Overall amazing experience. Only complaints are the random pair of socks next to the bed and the beds are not very comfortable. Great service, everyone was friendly, continental breakfast was good, loved our balcony and the small kitchenette in the room is a fantastic idea.
