The entire stay was pleasant, the area beautiful, the staff excellent, however, since they do not have a swimming pool, their nightly rates should be lower. The shuttle driver named Gabriela was very efficient, informative and sweet. It would be nice if they convert a piece of their huge parking lot, (that is not all necessary) an area to relax around a fire pit with loungers and chairs❤️

Beds were terrible very bad mattresses, rooms had loud ac units and although touted as a non-smoking hotel people smoked all over and in front of the ac units which sucked the smoke into your room. A couple of positives the people that run the hotel in the day were kind and accommodating but the night person just watched tv and didn’t want to be bothered. The place is quiet.

The room looked ok until we walked in and get a strong wiff of cigarette smoke. The smell penetrated into our clothes and my kids. For the price we paid I believe this shouldn’t have been an issue.

Could easily be much better

This is a hard one to rate because of the very odd disconnect between the interiors (room, lobby, breakfast area, etc.) that were immaculate vs the exterior that made me feel embarrassed to be staying there. The front where you pull isn't terrible, if not a bit dated, but the back where more than half of the rooms are and where we were is a nightmare. Overgrown weeds coming through the asphalt, an old shuttle bus sitting there rotting, some weird fences and sheds, old metal railings and stairs in need to painting/repair, etc. Obviously that doesn't affect the room itself or service quality, but stepping outside to see that level of neglect (rooms all face outdoors) makes $300/night a total gouge. We were joking that it felt like being at summer camp. All it would take is half a day by a landscape crew and some periodic maintenance to get 90% of the way to where it should be. Also, there is supposedly wifi, which we were able to connect to, but it never worked for us all weekend. Free breakfast was good. So 5 stars for interior, 1 star for exterior.

The room needs updated but it was very clean. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very small but the sheets and bed comfort was clean. We only stay one night, and it was very convenient to get to the foxwood show. You can park right in front of your room, making parking very convenient. They offer breakfast but go early, it is busy.

Hot water problems, lots of mirrors, needs updates

If you want to take a shower, ne prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for it to arrive to your shower. Serious updates are needed in the suites - old furniture (late 70's early 80's). Not to mention a plastic mirror (OMG, was not ecpecting that) and an 80s or 90's jacuzzi tub, only plumbing in bathroom that didnt take 20 mins to get hot. Overall, not worth the over $250 per night price tag. It was clean, the staff seemed nice enough, but i would recommend paying the extra $100 a night and stay a t one of the better know hotels in the area. If you are loooking for a room with an excessive about of mirros, by all means, this might be the place you would enjoy.
