Room needed a refresh. However for the price it was ok and only a short walk to the airport building. Would be good to have some kind of take out option for breakfast for people with early flights who need to leave before breakfast is served.

The room wasn’t room seen on the website. The decor looked like it hadn’t been painted for some time. Walking into the room it had a very strange smell. The bath and shower head looked unclean. Being in winter Traveling 2hrs 15mins from Manchester I would have expected the room to have been heated but was not and it was baltic and took hours to heat up.So all in all it was a very uncomfortable stay.

I had a guest making noise from 6 pm to 6 am and could not get any meaningful sleep . This Britannia hotel has improved but it’s like a can of cheap beans you get what you pay for
