The property is extremely old. The carpet had so many stains, the room had hair already on the floor when I arrived. The food disgusting. I ordered fish tacos. They microwaved the tortilla’s and threw a piece of cheese on the fish with a ton of spicy sauce. And it cost around $25… YUK.. Parking is 47.55 and you have to pay per day. There is no other parking that will allow you to leave and come back so you are stuck with them.. needless to say only stay if you are desperate…

Booked thru Expedia, when I attempted to check in they stated there was an issue with my card and since it was through a third party they couldn't contact they cancelled my reservation. Plus they stated the property was overbooked so they had nothing available. I asked if they could call another Hilton in town to check for availability and was told it was not possible at that time to call and ask. Checked Expedia app and no mention of an issue with a reservation or cancelation. My workaround was to not deal with Hilton or Expedia and get it sorted myself. Update: Was requested to revise negative review, no rates, profanity, or PII used so fixed grammar.

I loved how close it was to everyone. It felt like I was at the heart of the city. Very convenient for traveling. Loved the shuttle to the airport as well. I didn’t like how noisy it was and there was a lot of homeless people outside the building. I think there was also construction going on outside so that added to the noise

Helpful, friendly staff. Big rooms. Great location (20 minutes to Manhattan). Incredible value. Plus you are supporting a fabulous city and its courageous mayor who is taking on our authoritarian leader and his ICE Gestapo rather than one who is collaborating with them. Yay Newark!

Super convenient for anyone wanting to get into NYC quickly. Convenient parking at a reasonable rate. Hotel restaurant was good. Felt very safe. Elevators worked, but were on the slower side. Our room was clean but had what looked like an old soda stain on the carpet outside the bathroom. Mattresses were too firm for my liking as I'm used to sleeping on a super plush mattress, and it made my hips and back hurt, but this is an issue I have at most hotels and is not specific to this one. Definitely would stay here again when planning a trip to NYC. So much cheaper to stay here and park here than dealing with parking and higher prices in the city.

My room was given away!!!

I booked the room and received a confirmation. When my friend arrived at the hotel after a delayed arrival in Newark from Portugal. Here room was given away. And they compensate her with a one bed room for 3 occupants. I am so disappointed!
