Lindo y cómodo apartamento ubicado en una curva del dique del río Mississippi, a 10 minutos del French Quarter y la Frenchman Street y a solo un tiro de piedra de muchos restaurantes, bares y locales de música en Bywater, Faubourg Marigny y St. Claude Corridor. Patricia was an extremely kind and accommodating host. She made sure we had everything we needed at the house. The property itself is beautiful and cozy and clean. We encountered no issues at all. The neighborhood was very quaint and quiet. The check in and check out procedures were very simple and quick, as well.As for any negatives, the bridge out of Holy Cross leading into French Quarter was always congested as the only other bridge was closed (this was completely out of Patricia’s control).Thank you Patricia!! If we are ever back in NOLA, we’d love to stay at your property again :)

Graduation weekend

Nice place to stay and we hope to go again. The host was accommodating and quick to answer emails. I loved the charm and character of the old house. It had all the necessities and some extras too. Very comfortable bed and futon. Free parking on the street in front of the house was so convenient. We could have done without the mosquitoes (lol-it’s Louisiana!). We walked up the levee to see the Mississippi River.

Quiet section of NOLA

Great property, a true NOLA Shotgun home. I was very quiet and comfortable with all the standard comforts. Had a pocket door to close while doing laundry. Great to walk along the Mississippi, very close. Had a chance to watch the local puppet show on the green by the river.

Quiet getaway

Patricia was a very good host. She was available whenever we needed her and was quick to answer when we try to get a hold of her. The home was cozy and comfy and will be definitely when we return to when we come back to New Orleans.

Nice quiet spot for a weekend in New Orleans

Great, clean shotgun duplex in lower 9th Ward. Easy access to French Quarter, Mid-City, Treme, etc: either a 10 minute drive or a 12-15 can ride. Patricia is a kind and responsive host. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay

This was everything I dreamed of when I envisioned New Orleans. Classic shotgun home with beautiful details, pocket doors, high ceilings, fireplace in rooms. Every amenity was provided, I could have just brought my clothing. We would love to come and stay again.

January Escape

This was the perfect location for us. Quiet neighborhood , away from the traffic and businesses of downtown, yet only 20 minutes away. The house is very New Orleans” and has lots of character. Just a short walk away is the Mississippi River and a nice walk on the levee. We didn’t have to bother Tricia at all because everything we needed or wanted was there. We had a great week exploring the area and left the day before it snowed! We would highly recommend this home whether staying for a couple of nights or a week like we did.

NOLA away from the craziness

Beautiful Gem of New Orleans

This property is a beautiful gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood beside the water. The home was comfortable, and the kitchen was the best-stocked of any VRBO I have stayed at. My husband and I love to cook and have morning coffee, and this kitchen was clean and comfortable, with great appliances and snacks! The owner's hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. Check-in was a breeze, and we were delighted to find a wealth of local resources laid out for us. The art and graffiti book was a unique touch that we thoroughly enjoyed, and it inspired us to explore the local art scene. The home was close to downtown New Orleans, and a cemetery was a short drive away. We enjoyed morning and evening walks by the river. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I highly recommend it, and if we make our way back to New Orleans, we will stay again.
