Great hotel but service and food need work

So, the hotel itself is nice with wonderful views large rooms, which was awesome and it was clean and close to the Superdome, which is why we chose the hotel. However, the drinks were hotel average which is fine, but the food not so much! If I stayed here again, I would choose a different restaurant for sure! Also the morning breakfast staff, could do a better job listening and with communicating

My only issue was I tried calling the front desk a few times and could never get an answer for things that should have been complementary (robes, fan, etc) Also a little inconvenience was no fridge or microwave. Other than that it was a great stay.

Loved our stay at Nopsi! Sean was very accommodating and gave us plenty of recommended food options that did not disappoint. Hotel was clean and comfy. Check out the in hotel restaurant and try the shrimp bisque.

New Orleans on Business

Myself and a co-worker were traveling for a business conference and trade show at the local convention center. This location was super convention, about a 15-20min walk. I loved the style, location, room size, quality of the shower and the roof pool deck! the staff was very helpful and there were a few nice extras: free drink on the rooftop bar, and a free Gin tasting and cocktail making course at the lobby bar. this was a real gem and we enjoyed hearing about the history of NOPSI and also the generosity of the bartender Tara. This will be my hotel of choice next time I am in New Orleans, very much enjoyed the trip!

The only positive I have to say about NOPSI was that the valet staff was excellent. The staff was not inviting, not kind, and everyone seemed like they did not want to be there. The room smelled like an old man spilled 3 bottles of bad cologne in it. The margaritas at the rooftop bar were 25$ a piece. Not top shelf just house tequila. I’m thinking we got ripped off honestly. I would not stay here. We walked past many other hotels in the area that the staff seemed much nicer just sitting by the door. As a frequent traveler this establishment was by far the worst.

this property is one of the few with a roof top bar and pool. the only problem is now they don't have a music they play is from reception area on the first floor which is elevator music. The bartender has no control at all. They use to have a DJ which made it very lively and posh. But now this are is every low energy and mundane. Still a great hotel great location, friendly staff...but man that music really sucks now. At least they could stream Spotify or any other radio service would be better

Please put a coffee pot in the rooms. Walking on the rug was not comfortable it was very uncomfortable and uneven. I really LOVE the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful and nice. I liked the rooftop. It was a very nice place to lounge. I will definitely recommend your hotel to people I know.
