I have stayed at thos resort 4 previous times. However, my family was supposed to stay another week beginning May 21st. After our flight was delayed 4 times, and then finally cancelled, we had to cancel our trip as the airline could not get us 3 tickets to get to Jamaica. This resort has refused to refund us for our cancelled trip even though the cancellation was at no fault of our own and we provided all of the supporting documentation. I will never book to stay at this resort again.

I absolutely loved this property! It’s was my first time in Jamaica and It was suppose to be my first destination place and unfortunately didn’t workout that way but I made sure it was my second and it did not disappoint! The staff were just so kind, beautiful hearted and so respectful! Shout out to my girl FELICIA! She worked in St. Ann and found out it was my birthday and did a celebration for me with her fellow staff and I absolutely adore her! Beautiful inside and out and deserves the best! I went with my two sisters for two of our birthdays and a Mother’s Day for the other and we had an amazing time! We will be back! Thank you for having us RIU Ocho Rios! Many blessings to all!

Rooms were far away very long walk to the room. Elevator very small. Overall the hotel was ok for the price. entertainment was good finish kind of really nothing else to do after. Nightclub would be nice or some late music. Food was ok lots of options to choose from. Steak house could be better.

Good property with several facilities to keep us busy while inside the resort. Location is a big plus providing a serene atmosphere with view of mountains, several trees and ocean on the other side. We liked the buffet food options inside the property to better manage time, go around visit places. However, we sensed differential treatment especially in cafeteria (by a few staff) which we don’t appreciate. Hence, the poor rating for Staff and Service.

I love the Food, Pool, Gym, Beach, and the room was wonderful...there's only one problem Riu have to do an upgrade on their towels they're terrible, smell bad and course!

This was a great restore to stay at the only problem is the terrible techno music. They played by the adult pool all day over and over again same tape and again terrible music they should play Jamaican vibe music. This techno has nothing to do with Jamaica even the bartenders when asked if they could change, it said they wish they could cause they even said it was terrible. Other than that It was a great resort. And we used best Jamaican transport and they were amazing.
