Total misleading and terrible experience ! I stayed at this resort- the ocean Eden bay from Sept 19th until the 22nd 2025. The resort claims that the check in is at 3pm. However, I arrived at 1:45pm and the room they assigned to me ( not what I paid for) was not ready until 6. I reserved an ocean view room and was placed in a pool/garden view room. Spoke to managers Richard Brown and Sceala Taylor who were dismissive, did not apologize for the lateness and/or for giving me a room I did not reserve. Taylor claimed I needed to come back to the lobby next day after 3pm to check if I could be transferred to the room I paid for. Called Expedia and was offered $ 70 dollars which I declined since I paid more than that for the room I reserved. Service is poor- employees are dismissive despite of you asking for what you paid for. I asked for a natural juice during the breakfast time at the buffet and was encouraged twice to take whatever juice was already available. Food- the steak restaurant was good in every sense. Food fresh with friendly customers service. The guest service- poor service as my sister came on 9/20/25 to make a reservation for the Sakura restaurant and was told that there was no availability. I came on 9/21/25 and was told to check online after 3pm which, I did prior days and was unsuccessful. I asked representative Healthjah who initially was dismissive and then gave me a reservation. NO Entertainment - no theater shows, no beach parties.

Dirty bathtub and still late check in. Given the wrong room.

This property was so great. We had an amazing time at the day and night party. Our trip was Thursday - Sunday. We had a little issue with check-in due to using Expedia, and after a certain time at night, there is no food spots open. I think it stops at 10 pm or 11 pm.

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Eden, however there are some areas that could use improvement. Primarily the check in process and limited food options between 3pm and 6:30pm. When I arrived after a long day of traveling, I had to stand in line for over an hour just to check in, which is not ideal when your tired. Each guest check in was taking 30 plus minutes when they did finally make it to the desk. After the travel and long wait we were also hungry but surprised to learn they have limited food options available between 3 and 6:30p. The few restaurants that were open were out of food. They do have room service but we did not learn that until the next day. Despite this the rest of our stay was good. The pool and bars are great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Once you learn the food schedule there is plenty available if you plan ahead. The hotel has plenty of space and does not feel overcrowded like some resorts do. There is not much in the area, but plenty of excursion reps to help plan activities. Be cautious if booking with Simpsons Watersports. Despite having a desk on the property they failed to provide their service properly and refused to refund. The hotel manager was very helpful with advocating for this, however the company did not cooperate. Overall good stay...I go again and hope for better check in process.

I went for my nephew's 60th birthday. It was off season unbeknownst to my party of 25 so less to do, less available restaurants. It was fine as resorts go. We left after our stay and went to Negril for a more unique time. What I did not like was my nephew being refused at dining establishments on more than one occasion because he had summer shirts without sleeves. He is a hard working professional man and was highly insulted as we all were. We paid our money for a resort in a hot climate. There were literally men allowed in with Hanes tee shirts while my nephew a well dressed business man wasn't allowed. Management became involved which took hours for a resolution. We eventually dined however not without our entire party of 25 people being inconvenienced. Not for nothing but my nephew, a 60 year old man dresses exquisitely. He brought clothing for a hot climate. Myself and most women had no sleeves which was fine at these dining establishments, discriminating against a male without sleeves is unacceptable. My family has gatherings with large groups all over the globe and we have never encountered blatant discrimination against what a man is wearing. His clothing was suitable for a hot climate. Obviously, we will never patronize this establishment again.

For the most art everyone was good people they spoke kindly and genuinely. The pool was nice the beach was good. Food was alright hit or miss but for the most part enjoyable especially it being unlimited all inclusive

The property was nice and beautiful. However, the AC was down for 2 days and no compensation was offered. Also we changed rooms to the other side and no in told us we would head back to our original room when the ac is fixed. The other room was locked when we arrived back and we had to go back to our original room. We were also told the bellhop would come to help us back ti the other room and they never came and we waited 30 mins. Also the food options were not the best. I did not like having only one place for breakfast. Also the spa should not be added in the amenities for an all inclusive resort if you have to pay additional for it. We ordered room service and never received it after waiting an hour. The towel service people were also usually rude and made us feel stupid for asking questions.

Resort was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the resort as excursions were a bit far but looked really cool to do.

Resort had great amenities all around with things to do . Only thing was the service from some staff around the resort could have been better especially as a privilege customer . Also they need to have a booth or location where you could exhange US money to smaller bills to tip staff . If you can’t change money you can’t have guest tip your staff which sucks . Other than that resort was great and lots of fun .

The property was nice but the ocean was very rocky didn’t get to really enjoy it the food options was very Americanized not really authentic like I was looking for but many options… most of the employees were very nice while some did seem to hate they job… the air went out in the rooms half way thru our trip took a day and a half to get them to move us to the family side so we wasnt drowning in sweat but all in all when u go to a hot climate / Caribbean island they style of luxury is different then the u.s luxury … would have liked to have more options for exploring the island thou definitely will come back to experience more of Jamaica but maybe at a different resort

Rooms were great!! Food was great!!! Love love loved my time....only thing I didn't like was the rain got both of our pool parties canceled.😩
