On Orbitz they advertised about Free Breakfast. in the morning they asked 18$ for Breakfast. On the Orbitz you pay extra Dollar at the time of reservation and it says then free breakfast.

My room did not have amenities such as shampoo, body wash and lotion, containers were empty. Desk said they would correct but did not. Bathtub water would not go down, desk said they'd correct. Valet parking people were truly amazing, staff was 100%. With those small issues, I'd stay again.

A Stay That Felt Like Coming Home

From check-in to check-out, the front desk team at DoubleTree Modesto made this more than just a stay—it felt like a pause in the storm. Chris, Johannes, and the rest of the staff were not only professional and attentive, but genuinely warm and supportive. The room was clean and peaceful. Every detail—from the welcome cookie to the helpful guidance—contributed to a restful, affirming experience. You don’t always expect a sense of human care in a large hotel chain, but here?
