Situado en nuestra propiedad y hecha de material de reciclaje, esta habitación privada es ideal para una pareja o una persona. Cómoda cama de matrimonio, con ventanas hacia el oeste no tiene que salir a experimentar las mejores puestas de sol. La habitación está llena de chucherías que recogí viajando por el mundo. Cafetera y azúcar, sábanas limpias y toallas en la habitación. Cocina al aire libre en el próximo edificio también hecho de papel.
Usted experimentará polvo, estamos en el desierto, lejos de un Hilton. El cuarto de baño y la ducha caliente están disponibles en el siguiente edificio hecho de papel. Muy diferente, no para los hombres de negocios, todos aquí es al aire libre. Venga y experimente algo diferente, deje sus preocupaciones en casa y abra su mente al cielo más oscuro en Far West Texas. I loved the quirkiness of the house. Quiet, remote, with everything we needed (coffee and coffee maker). We slept well. I thought I lost my purse - Ingrid found it in the house and mailed it to me. I’d stay again.

Unique property in Marathon, TX

This property is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The two-bedroom house is uniquely decorated with artifacts from around the world and the local area. We were able to sit out front at night and see the stars. The other properties and the area are also very interesting. We have stayed in the best hotels around the world and this place is equal to or better. Too bad the owner was away and we were unable to meet her.

Very unique!

Check in with quick and easy I love the creativity they put into their property. It was awesome. There was plenty of room for more people to stay, but it was just me. Marathon is a tiny town and the location was perfect for me to go out to the post where I had an event to attend. Ingrid is very friendly and I will definitely stay again!

Perfect little cottage for Marathon getaway

My best friend and I stayed in the Spirit Room during our annual trek down to Marathon. We loved the decor and the little community of homes - we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Perfect spot for Big Bend Adventure

The Spirit Room was exactly as advertised. Quirky, strange and absolutely perfect. Ingrid was lovely and wonderful. Slept great. Windmill patio was perfect for star viewing. And, yes, it is totally fine for families as long as you understand that La Loma del Chivo is a once in a lifetime experience full of endless wonder. Helicopter parents need not apply.

Beautiful memorable experience!!

Ingrid was so nice and friendly!! It was my birthday and she put up a banner in our room and left me candies and chocolate!!! It made me feel so special and welcome!!! The bed was so very comfortable!!! The property was so much fun to walk around and take pictures and it is right on the edge of town. Took a minute or two to drive to the center!!! Loved it and will return!!
