Room was not as expected. Toilet and bathtub had mildrew stains. Bathtub ceramic wall had mold around it. Not a sofa to sit on, only two high chairs, door not too secured. Room and property need a lit of maintenance. Very old and not mantained. Wall plugs without a cover. Dissapointed tgat pictures did not match the place.

Awful. We could have stayed elsewhere in a clean room, I’m not sure how a large person could fit in the bathroom. Right by highway, noisy as can be. I will never recommend this dump.

Labor Day Alpine trip

We make the vintage vibes from the hotel. The pool was clean and the pool area was very well taken care of. Everything was clean, cool and comfortable. It had plenty of space for this mom and her two teenage sons to stay comfortably. We loved it. Super cute. I do wish the pool would stay open later on the weekends since quiet time is from 10pm-8 am.

The Maverick greatly exceeded expectations. The room was truly excellent and spacious. Well stocked with things a first class hotel would have. Very convenient location. The maverick will be our default stay every time we're in Alpine...my home town (AHS '64 &. SR '68). We were glad the Holland Hotel was available until 8 pm for checkin, as we were rushing and would have missed the 7pm noted on the Maverick paperwork. First night fans were a noise problem, however, the cleaning crew had already alerted management and they were repaired first thing second morning. Perfect then on! Trains noisy, but nothing new there, no matter where you stay in Alpine. The old Siesta Motel could not have received a better makeover than what the Holland Hotel folks created. Excellent quality! The Maverick was the best stay we've had in Alpine in a long, long time!! Thank you!

Wonderful Experience!

We booked a room at the Maverick Inn, sister property to the Holland Hotel. Checking in at the Holland, they upgraded us to the rooftop suite at the Holland for no upcharge because the A/C at the Maverick Inn room was broken. We will definitely stay with them again!

Needs updating badly. No Wi-Fi in rooms as advertised; had to stand outside. Called about it and got a (shrug)no help response. Bathtub with shower overhead difficult to get in and out of. Somewhat noisy and disappointing. Crummy TV with bad speaker. Bed was ok but not great. Like a no tell hotel.

It was difficult to check in. I'm okay going to another location to check in, but when I went there, that front desk was unattended. I had to wait a really long time for someone to show up. When they did, they were super nice, I'm guessing they are really understaffed. When i got to my room at the hotel down the street, there was no toilet paper. You kind of expect it, so it was an awkward moment when i realized there was none. Called and they said to get some at the lobby. Then called back and said wait, there's none in that lobby, they'll bring it out.... from the other hotel. (Sigh) Minisplit AC made an awful noise 24/7, but meh, at this point was just tired. Room and decor was really cute! Very rustic and charming. Overall it was okay. Being the "other" hotel down the street and not staffed has its pros and cons. Seems really neglected, but also very private.

Now, where do I begin?The toilet would not flush properly. The swimming pool was ice cold. The faucet handle on the bathroom sink came off in my hand and I had to fix it. There was no coffee in the kitchen. The light fixture pulled down when I turned off the light at the fixture. The lighting was very poor. I have never stayed in a room that was so noisy. The bathtub had black around the edge. I think I deserve a partial refund for my bad experience. The lady at the hotel where we picked up the key was wonderful!

Quint motor court

Quaint motor court style hotel. Quiet, well-maintained. Check in was at the main property in town. Other than the beds being hard, the room was comfortable, but the WiFi was spotty. Served our purposes well and would overall recommend.
