It simply wasn’t the best day to stay there. They had a huge problem with their computer system and where unable to check anybody in and to give us our keys so they had to bring each guest up one by one and open the room for them with their master key. Later during the afternoon they were able to give us a key. You could see that they were doing their best to keep the situation calm and at the same time being as efficient as possible. Later that night, the fire alarm went off as well but stopped after less than a minute so nobody reacted. I am sure the poor employees at reception where having a hell of a day and for us as guests it was simply uncomfortable not to be able to check in at first. Anyhow, we still had a great sleep and enjoyed visiting the centre which is right there. Super centric location.

Good, central hotel

Good, central location and handy for the train and coach stations. We arrived late at night and unfortunately there was no bar or food service available (except for the vending machine!). Our room was a bit tired and could do with a refresh, but the breakfast was plentiful and had a good choice of hot and cold dishes.

The room is quite clean (perhaps except the carpet, bring slippers). Right across the Piccadilly Garden and transportation. Excellent location and close to Piccadilly Station and the city centre. Overall very satisfactory.

Staff was fine just clients. Next door shouting and glass breaking from midnight till early hours of the morning. no sleep for us who was going christmas markets and a relaxing night instead it was hell

I knew the hotel would be basic... but I didn't expect to have bedbug bites on my back after staying. I've never had them in my life and find it absolutely shocking that any hotel could have them. Also was quite mortified that someone had vomited in one of the lifts - it was around 1.30am, only the night porter seemed to be on duty. I alerted him as I'd been about step in to the lift when the doors opened - he said he knew about it and it would get sorted out 'later'...but he didn't put a sign out saying that the lift was out of use. I had to then warn two other guests not to go in as they'd just arrived and were about to call the lift. The least the hotel should've done was to put an 'out of service' sign out! I definitely would not stay there again.

Freezing cold room, mini heater was placed jn room but let out mjnimum heat. The air con could not be turned off and was on all night (blowing oug cold air). My colleague had another room and the same experience. He asked reception- they said they could do nothing
