All the staff were friendly and helpful . The room was well maintained and clean. The bar/ breakfast and reception area’s were c comfortable . The only area of improvement would be that on an evening there should be more staff behind the bar and reception. When we returned to the hote there was only one member of staff behind the bar/ reception and it was busy and some tables needed clearing and queue’s formed.

The place was great. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was good just a bit tired looking but for what we paid we could not grumble. Food this morning was very good. I wood recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an over night stay after a concert.

Okay for a one night stay, wouldn't want to stay longer. Staff very helpful arranging taxi to Co op live. Room was next to main road which was very noisy. Also room needs some attention e.g toilet flush not working properly and water took ages to drain from sink.

hi cannot say checked in then checked out an hour later my daughter who I was travelling with as we had booked to see Robbie Williams had a cardiac arrest so spent the time in Manchester hospital and are still there now reached out to hotel to ask for a refund because of exceptional circumstances but they have told me they can't accept this find this a bit harsh just payed them and the within an hour checking out.Is there anyway I can request a refund please ?

As we were only there for one evening it was ok, however the cleanliness of the facilities wasn’t great, there was no where to get food, it claims to be 5 minute drive from the Co-op live arena and a 15 minute walk but this is more like 45-50 mins. It was ok to use as somewhere to sleep but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Stayed over two nights for a concert at Co-op Live. Friendly staff. Nice room with newish fittings. Comfortable (very firm) bed. Good bathroom and shower. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the price. Decent bar. Still a bit noisy in the room even with the window shut due to the roadside location. Communal decor a bit dated but can't complain for the price.

We enjoyed our stay at the Diamond Lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room comfortable. A perfect location for going to a gig at the Co op Arena which is in walking distance. The free breakfast was a bonus.

Worst stat ever! Run down hotel grounds, uncomfortable beds, noisy guests no security. Fire alarm set off early hours of morning no reassurance from hotel staff or direction. Felt very unsafe

The rooms weren't awful, but that's about the only positive. Corridors smelt of w**d, loud banging coming from people outside rooms, woken at 3am by the person upstairs stomping around, slamming things and screaming at someone.
