I did like that the receptionist gave me a room near the lobby. As the crippled elderly person I do appreciate it a lot.
I don't like the hotel policy that prevents exceptions to give the room to the loyal customer for 15 years, old and cripple on the top of it, before the official check in time. So in pain and suffering, I had to kill 2 hrs before I was able to lay down in my room.
I didn't like the food. It has been going downhill year after year. Lunch buffet for $18.- was equal to the food in the cheap neighborhood eatery.
Chicken wings I ordered later in the night was total disaster. Wings were tasteless, accompanied only with watery hot sauce + ketchup and mayo in the tiny plastic packets. Fries were worse. Reminded me pieces of soft plastic.
Margaritas were OK, but in the past they were much better.
It's sad to see how the dining options in this hotel are nearing to the point when guest who wants to eat needs to take taxi and go to town or order the pizza from outside.
Staff is still extremely friendly and helpful.
