The hotel is a bit old, but it’s clean and well maintained. The room was spacious enough for a family of 3–4 people and offered great value for the price. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. Most hotels in this area are narrow, vertical buildings due to limited space, so don’t expect an elevator in every property. The staff were always ready to assist and greeted guests with a smile, which made the stay even more pleasant.

This is a great overnight hotel in Auguas Caliente. It was very clean and the breakfast spread is great. Its a 3 minute walk to the bus station. A couple things to note is its near the top of the hill, and its not soundproof. I could hear people in the lobby having conversations and walking up and down the stairs. Aside from those minor things, its a great place to stay! I would absolutely recommend it!

We could hear the sound of the river when we opened the window- relaxing. Nice hotel with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a variety of options and was tasty. The room was clean and spacious with a large bed. Nice hot shower with strong water pressure. Great location, close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu and options to eat. Only troubles: there was construction going on right in front of the hotel, so if your room is facing that direction you will hear the noise during the day. Also the windows aren’t soundproof so you can hear everyone passing by, but okay at night since it’s not a busy street. The wifi is also very spotty and barely works in the room, worked better in the lobby.

Your review is already strong — here’s a polished version with smoother grammar and flow while keeping your meaning and tone: Hotel Tara is perfectly located in Aguas Calientes. The man who assisted us with our large amount of luggage to and from the train station was incredibly helpful, courteous, empathetic (we had to quickly change our plans to return to Cusco for a trek), and very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel room is spacious! The women who prepared breakfast even made eggs to order for us, despite us arriving a few minutes late. The only drawback is that there isn’t an elevator; however, they even carry your luggage up to your room. Absolutely stay here — the price is fabulous for the level of service and quality of the room.
