Wonderfully central, very comfortable

The perfect location for a city break, facing right onto the main square. My room was modern and spacious. The bed was very comfortable (just so you know, I like a firmer mattress) and it was a proper king-size mattress with a proper king-size duvet - not two singles pushed together as you often get in the Netherlands! Plenty of coffee supplied for the Nespresso machine and the room was made up nicely every day. The only small negative is that there was noise from outside, particularly from delivery vans serving the town square, but that's the flip side of the location. It didn't bother me during the day and I slept with earplugs in. So to summarise: if you like a firm mattress and you're OK with a little noise in exchange for the perfect location, then this is the place for you.

Comfortable Stay

We loved this hotel, right in the middle of the town square and within walking distance of all the sites. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. It was easy to get to/from the train station. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Gem

This is a perfectly situated boutique hotel with fabulous service and very pretty rooms. Our room had large windows facing the square, a very comfortable bed and amenities, a lovely bathroom, and it was meticulously kept. I would come again in a heartbeat. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Convenient Location

Nice clean room in a central location. Very convenient for an overnight stay, Parking was expensive (€26 for a day) but still cheaper than public parking but it was only accessible by walking around the outside of the hotel.

Friendly staff, well organised. large rooms and close to all the action in Maastricht. If you want to be in the middle of it all this is a great place to stay.

Slice of heaven

Checkin and checkout were very quick and easy. The lady who there upon arrival and departure was very nice and friendly (always added bonus). The room had a great view of the vrijthof square and the room was spotless, looked very new and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was one of the hottest days this year so we wouldn’t have gotten such a good sleep without it. Location like other reviews have stated is my mind the best. Short walks to any part of the Center and to the Wijk side. Lastly everyone working at the hotel were friendly and helpful. This together with a beautiful hotel in a great location at a decent price I would suggest a must place to stay in Maastricht.

A real find in the heart of the city

A boutique style hotel. Modern, comfortable and clean.It is a small hotel very tastefully decorated. Although my room was in the annex building it was great, spacious with a big bathroom. Loved my stay and when in Maastricht again, I will definitely be back

Excellent hotel, perfect location, v. relaxed stay

Very good hotel with spacious well-equipped and recently refurbished room in an excellent location with a lovely street café vibe. Very pleasant staff and a good breakfast (as usual in the Netherlands it is not included in the price). There are many great restaurants and bars as well as upmarket boutiques and shops within a few minutes’ walk. I would happily stay in this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it. There are a few minor design flaws in the room fit-out in my opinion: (1) the electrical light - lux - levels are very low, especially over the bathroom mirror which makes it difficult to apply make-up or shave; (2) there is no plug in the bathroom sink which is quite wasteful as one cannot fill the basin for instance when washing one’s face as one has to keep the water running; (3) there are only open shelves in the wardrobe, no drawers, which is a drawback as it is messy for unpacking socks, underwear etc. However, these small things and did not take away from the fact that it is a very good hotel and we had a very pleasant stay.
