Spent 9 days in March with family. Had a great time. Participated in lots of activities. Aqua Aerobics were great with Urías and Vanessa. They were the best entertainment staff. Very friendly, cordial, attentive with guest and would help you with anything you needed. The bartenders at the family pool were top notch. View from the infinity pool to the beach was excellent. It was very relaxing. We even saw whales a couple days from the pool.

The Expedia Concierge Staff were exceptional, special thanks to Brissa, Roberto and Gabriel. Brissa, assisted in formulating an itinerary for our 2 night trip to La Paz, recommending places of interest to stop at and restaurants. The Krystal Grand Hotel did not disappoint, the room we were first assigned had 2 beds and the air conditioning unit was faulty. We had requested a king bed, we were moved the next day to a king bed and this room was good. We enjoyed most if the specialty restaurants although the food could be served hotter, a few times we requested to have are food warmed.

The Expedia Staff at the hotel were outstanding! Brissa, Robert, Gabriel, Gustavo ( bellboy) were incredibly helpful in very which way from before arrival , and continued to be throughout our 20 day stay until our day of departure!!! We felt well taken care of, listened to , and action taken when we needed to change suites. Thank you especially to Brissa! After 14 days we were upgraded to the Altitude benefits which made our stay even better… from the roof top, special dinners, Altitude lounge , restaurants for breakfast and lunches! Amazing! All thanks to Brissa and Roberto! Brissa was extremely helpful when she planned a lovely road trip for us to La Paz! Also trips into San Jose , were extra nice because of her recommendations! They definitely gave us a wonderful experience at the Krystal Grand Los Cabos.

This place was extremely disappointing. The adult pool was turning green and so cloudy that you couldn't see the bottom, which is unacceptable. On top of that, the sewer pump was broken, so the entire pool area smelled like sewage. The sink and shower water in our room also had a sewage smell. We arrived at 4:30 PM to check in, even though check-in time is listed as 3:00 PM, and were told our room was not ready. Staff suggested we eat while we waited, but the restaurant closed at 5:00 PM and refused to seat us, leaving us stuck with no room and no food. When we finally got to the room, there were no towels, the safe did not work, and although there was an ironing board, there was no iron. One day our room was not cleaned at all, and we had to call just to get towels. The property itself looks dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. The rooms are very old-looking, and the walls are so thin that we were woken up daily by noise from neighboring rooms. While the price is cheap, I would much rather pay more for a cleaner, better-maintained place. I wouldn't even consider this a resort -- it feels more like a run-down hotel. I would not recommend staying here. Brissa and Gabriel were VERY helpful and friendly! If you go here, go see them.

This would be understandable but staff kept giving fauls time lines when it would be fixed. We really enjoyed our stay here, and it was largely due to how friendly the staff were. A gentleman by the name of Sergio was our favourite, he always had a smile on his face and was very kind to us. We primarily dined at The Grill where he typically worked because we enjoyed interacting with him so much. Some honourable mentions go out to the rooftop bartender Hugo and our wonderful room cleaner Luciano. Again, both were extremely friendly and kind and always put a smile on our faces.

Our one week stay was everything we wanted and more. We loved all the different areas and pools. The views were stunning and beach was gorgeous. We were curious what to expect with the food because there are such mixed reviews but we really enjoyed it! The Take a Bite Cafe could have been a little better—the espresso was quite weak. At the breakfast buffet, the omelette stations were the highlight, and sitting outside practically on the beach with an ocean view was incredible. We even saw some whales while eating breakfast! The Surfos Snack Bar had the best fish tacos I think I’ve ever had. And the cook Fernando was incredible. He was so personable and kind. When we asked for hot sauce and he didn’t have any, without asking he went and got us some from the restaurant—absolutely over and above. The variety of seafood the resort had on the whole was excellent. Risotto (Italian) was our favourite restaurant. Truly though, the staff are what made this resort the unexpected awesomeness that it was. Manuel and Lilly were lovely, kind, attentive poolside waiters. We really appreciated them and enjoyed seeing them each day. Raúl, the bartender at the sports bar, was fantastic! Playing pool and sipping his cocktails made our evenings. We also are super thankful to Urias. He hosted karaoke and archery and was so fun, kind, and engaging. He truly went over an above to make us feel welcome. The staff were so kind and helpful. The location was beautiful. Other than that the cleanliness was pretty lacking all around. we were given sheets with blood stains on them. The cups that the drinks are given in at the pool and bars are not cleaned at all, only rinsed briefly with tap water by hand and placed in a stack and given to someone else right after you. I suggest bringing your own cup and washing it yourself often. The food taste was fine but not good. Me and my partner got extremely sick to the point we were throwing up for over 24 hours and needed medical attention. we did not eat or drink anywhere else besides the resort. The pool was too cold for people to go in so everyone was piled into the two small hot tubs at the adult pool that were the temperature of a warm bath and they were very dirty. The chairs by the pool were very limited and were all very dirty. The room was very loud all day and all night you could hear the traffic along the road because the door had huge gaps all around the frame. The tv was very old and had no other function but a couple cable channels. The restaurants are not open all the time. One or two of them were closed every day. and the others were only open for dinner.

The main generator broke down which caused the emergency generator to turn on. The emergency generator blared throughout he entire resort for 24 hours a day. It also meant that the air conditioning was not working in the rooms. Although we were booked for 7 days, we checked out after 2 days and found another hotel. I am expecting Expedia to refund me for the 5 days that I never used.
