We recently stayed at Canda in Cabo San Lucas, and overall the hotel itself was beautiful with good amenities and service. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive. A special mention to Daril and Marco (bus boys), as well as Jazziel, Juan, and several of the restaurant waiters, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, our trip was soured by an incident on our third day. A bottle of cologne was stolen from our room, which left us feeling uneasy and unsafe with our belongings for the rest of the stay. While we appreciated the great service from certain staff members, the theft was very disappointing—especially since a couple of employees quietly mentioned that this type of incident wasn’t new there. In summary, the hotel offers a lot of positives in terms of atmosphere and some wonderful team members, but the lack of security and theft issue is a serious concern that kept us from fully enjoying what could have been a great experience.

We got a room upgrade and really liked our stay. The property has several pools and some are limited to adults only. Reservations are required for some restaurants for dinner, but we never had a problem getting a spot.

This was by far the best all inclusive I have stayed at. I read reviews to be wary of which inclusive package to get. We chose the premium and asked for a bill copy for everything. All was good. We did not do any time share talks and were very up front about it. All the food was amazing as well- and I’m a finicky eater. Would go back again!

So when we got there we were sold on the upgraded VIP charge. We bought it. What was not explained to us was that some of the restaraunts included in that access were randomlu closed. Also that the menu items supposedly featured no longer were. The other thing is that the property itself shuts down rather early for the most part around 9pm. All in all I would not stay there again and wouldnt advised anyone else to. On the other hand the staff was very friendly overall!

We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived and our first room was not good. We paid to upgrade and were very happy with the new room. We got a room with a view. Our first room had no water pressure, the paint was pealing off the wall and it smelled so bad. We let the staff know and they showed us different room options to move too/upgrade. It was worth the upgrade. All the food is made to order and is SO good. We went to every restaurant on property and even enjoyed the restaurants they are affiliated with at the marina. It’s great we get to use the marina fiesta pool and bar. We had a blast. The AC in the room was good, views are amazing, it’s quiet and very safe. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. It’s a massive property and they have a gold cart service that’s fast and easy to use. Check in did take some time but they were helpful and did a thorough job. If you’re looking for a relaxing clean and quiet place to unplug, this is the spot.

Run don’t walk away from this place. We have a family vacation where we booked 3 rooms. Ready to have fun together when you walk in it looks massive/impressive but you are quickly soured with the taste of someone selling you a TIMESHARE or Real estate opportunities. This is also not the only time you will be asked of this. It will be a constant theme of your stay. On top of that bad service and terrible food. It’s sad that this place has any stars at all. We were all so disappointed with our stay that we spoke with the manager on site. Which at the time was very nice and tried to be accommodating but it was too much bad. Service had a lot of bad but the worst came at lunch when your in the middle of giving your order and the person stops you to take another persons order, gives attitude and then get served extremely burnt and also raw food. The manager David Medina had said if he could he would refund us our money but we had to go through Expedia first. Called Expedia and he’s the one that denied our claim. In the end it was a lesson learned We ended up at the Hyatt Ziva and they were fantastic! Such a change from the extreme salesman and bad attitude
