Beautiful rooms
We were only on property for several hours awaiting a night time flight back to the mainland; but, found the experience awesome! The room was lovely and quite spacious and immaculate. The public spaces are wonderful and the pool is spectacular! We had a quick bite at Kukui’s, and the sushi was delicious! Strong recommend!
This location was close to all of the excursions we planned while in Kauai on our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!
Staff very helpful and friendly. Amenities, we’re nice. Very convenient, and well run hotel. Only drawback was dinner was nasty. Spouses choice ok at best. Nearby restaurants that were a short walk were very good, but pricey as is most thing in Kauai.

We stayed in the preferred view room overlooking pool and ocean. The room was spacious and clean. My kids enjoyed swimming in the extremely large, beachfront pool. Very friendly staff; Thanks to Ana at front desk, we were able to start our vacation super early due to an upgrade and early check-in. Would stay at this property again.
Hidden self parking charges Yuck and poop
Beautiful resort. The pool is amazing and located right next to the beach. A few of the items at the resort are still undergoing renovation, for example the lobby. However, our room was renovated and we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool. Resort is located next to Duke's restaurant which was also amazing.
From the very first interaction we had with the staff to the very last, we were extremely impressed and that is just the start. The overall experience was one of the best my husband and have had at any resort. The ambiance, cleanliness, pool, amenities, beach, and extras were amazing. The Royal Sonesta Lihue goes above and beyond for their guests and we would book again and again.
Property is in a great location, convenient to everything. Pool is spacious, water is the perfect temperature, with ample chairs and clean beach towels.
The staff was super nice! The hotel room was super clean. My kids enjoyed the pool so much!
Property has a beautiful landscaping and amenities are great! The only thing they need to work on is rooms remodeling. They are a bit out of age.
