Quiet, beautiful cabin near the lake. Modern kitchen with a great stock of equipment and dishes. Amazing covered porch and screened-in dining room. Comfortable beds and refreshing bathrooms. Lots of toys and games for the kids were a great bonus!

SO many good things about this place - fab front porch: great enclosed side porch for eating; fans in both those areas; quality appliances and kitchenware for eating/ cooking; good lights for reading in living area; walking distance of all the "hot" spots; nicely cleaned; lots of helpful explanations, neatly typed, around equipment in the house; wonderful old hinges and doorknobs to add charm; a fun hunt to find the bedroom closets (at first I thought there weren't any); linen and towels provided; parking area at back of house plus 2 passes for the street; total house AC that worked beautifully, etc. Would stay again!

Loved the porch!

We had such a great family reunion here and would love to stay again. Our daughter loved the porch and the location to see the lake. We were in walking distance to the playground which was a bonus. The house was very clean and well designed.

Great stay in Mount Gretna

Great property with plenty of room and a wonderful screened in porch. The master bedroom and bath were huge with lots of room and two sinks. Check-in was very easy and the pictures and house info was very accurate. We love Mont Gretna and would Definitely stay again!

Great location & house!

The house was perfect for what my family of 6 needed! They had everything you needed and more! They thought of things and gadgets you wouldn’t have thought of! The inside of the house was very neatly organized and clean and showed pride in ownership! The outside patios were AMAZING! We are our meals on the screened in porch. The kids loved sitting on the swings to relax and enjoy themselves! We loved the location and the house so much we discussed going back sometime!

Its a beautiful setting very quite and charming

Very happy with everything lots of room for everyone. Bathroom are all good size and patio alittle small. But porch is big. So its somewhere i would love to go back to again.

Great location with short walking distance to The Jigger Shop, Gretna Playhouse and Porch & Pantry. Kitchen has everything you need! Relaxing covered porch to watch the birds and squirrels.

Came from Florida to see the Amish and Hershey

The home was just as described and was Very quaint , eclectic , clean and appealing. It was a peaceful stay. We enjoyed the swing and spent some time on the porch in the evening playing UNO. We were a little disappointed with the downtown area , the ice cream shop was not open and it appeared to be getting some repairs on the property as well as there wasn’t any other place to visit close by. If you enjoy plenty of down time with peace and quiet this is the place to be.

Peaceful Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to take advantage of the screened in porch or the covered deck. We loved the charm and coziness of the house … especially the gas fireplace. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen well stocked! I imagine the warmer months are quite a bit of fun there with plenty to do in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Classic cottage home in mount gretna. Original home charm still intact but recent updates to kitchen and baths. So comfortable and cozy and a gorgeous porch with views of the lake. A perfect get-a-way with friends. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

One of the most interesting historic communities in PA

I had some friends stay with me the first weekend to enjoy the Mt. Gretna Outdoor Art show. During the week, I rode my bike on the 15 mile long Lebanon Valley rail trail, walked for miles around the community did a little work using the provided WiFi, and celebrated my birthday with my adult children the last weekend. I would recommend the house and community very highly

This was such an unexpected surprise. We loved the location and the serene environment. The home itself is cozy and perfect to spend family time on the porch or at the table. The near by lake was a favorite of our daughters and we all enjoyed our sweet treats from Jiggers!

A Perfect Getaway with a View

We absolutely loved our stay here. The home was so thoughtfully appointed with anything we could need and perfectly organized with labels and instructions where appropriate. The furniture and decor were inviting and comfortable. It was the perfect mix of modern amenities with the cozy mt gretna charm. We could tell the host take pride in their home and want their guest to feel comfortable and appreciate all the things they love about this charming place. The view of the lake from the covered porch could not be beat! We loved the proximity to everything too. It was a short, charming walk to the playground, Jiggershop for ice cream, tabernacle for live music, and porch and panty for a lovely breakfast. Spending a day at the lake was the perfect daytime activity. We absolutely recommend this spot. We’re already planning our next trip back.
