This property is located close to a variety of local boutiques and restaurants, but equipped with a grill and new appliances to support home cooked meals. It’s situated along the river and the large windows provide a serene view. The beds were very comfortable, the linens soft, and extra blankets were a pleasant surprise. The host was accommodating and prompt responding to questions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table, golf simulator, hot tub, sauna, and Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. It was fun to have the extra activities available under one roof for our family Easter get-together.

great open floor plan for 7 of us to spread out. Very fun huge garage area with all games you can think of was fun for all ages. Cozy firepit area with room for many on the deck overlooking the river. Very clean.

OUTSTANDING HOME!!!! Our group met here after our 60th High School reunion. We have been getting together has a group in rental homes for many many years. This house has to rank as one of the best! The views were wonderful, the house amenities were top notch, the owners were great and offered to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. The only drawback was the proximity of the railroad tracks, but by the 2nd night we didn't even notice.Over the many years of traveling together, we seldom return to the same location. However we've already had discussions about returning to LeClaire. In fact, I'm already missing relaxing on the deck and watching the wonderful river views!!!!!Thank you Eric and Kara for a wonderful home and stay!!!!

Perfect Except for Trains. Gorgeous River Views. Loved having the boat ramp & dock for our boat. Great outdoor space & features on deck. Fun garage game room. Very clean. Responsive owners. We knew about the train track, it was just louder than we thought it would be. they blow the horns because of the r/r crossing in the front yard. # of trains through the nighttime hours varied from 2 to 4. Its a tradeoff, continuous gorgeous backyard river views vs few mins each day of plugging your ears :)

Family Reunion

I met up with 2 of my siblings and family members to stay here. We were in town for the Bix7 road race in Davenport. The house was very spacious and recently remodeled. Everything was clean and as listed on the website. We enjoyed great views of the river while using the deck and hot tub. We had a lot of rain this weekend but the kids were entertained with all the game room had available for them to use. They used the golf simulator the most. The reason I gave this rating good for the location and not excellent is that the house is literally right next to the railroad tracks. I knew this when we rented the property but I didn’t expect as much train traffic as we encountered, especially during the evening hours. The bedrooms are on the same side of the house as the railroad tracks. And there is a crossing right in front of the house so the engineers have to sound the horn when going by. Other than that everything was great. Only a few minutes drive to downtown Leclaire and close to the Quad Cities. W had a great weekend despite all the rain.

Space to breath

The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall.

Perfect place to celebrate, chill & enjoy time with dear friends!!

This home had so much to offer! One weekend was not enough time to enjoy everything. Newly and beautifully remodeled with the magnificent Mississippi as the focus. The owners were very eager to make sure our time there was the best they could make it. We are a little reluctant to provide such a good review because our group of 8 ladies definitely want to return in the future & want to make sure there is some availability left for us!!

VERY relaxing stay

I wanted to spend a couple of days relaxing. Since i had never done this kind of trip i had hoped it would not disappoint. It didn't. It was.just what i had hoped. If ypu are looking for a relaxing place, this is it.

Perfect for our trip!!

Our girls trip was a 4 night stay and we loved every minute of it! Beautiful view of the river from the back deck. We spent a lot of time on the deck. Very relaxing! Owner was very helpful with any questions we had. Easy check in and out process. The house is spacious with many views of the river. Close to downtown Le Claire where we did a lot of shopping, looking and just taking it all in. I would definitely recommend staying here and should we come back this is where we will stay again!! Thank you for a great stay!!
