¡Bienvenido a una casa en el lago donde la vida es mejor y los recuerdos están hechos!
Estamos orgullosos de presentarle nuestra casa en el lago, que se encuentra en Pine Lake en La Porte, IN. Esta hermosa casa tiene 3200 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, para que cualquier familia se sienta cómoda y relajada. Ha sido completamente remodelado para brindar comodidad a todos y cada uno de los huéspedes de esta casa. Seis hermosas habitaciones y dos baños permitirán que cada huésped tenga su privacidad y duerma cómodamente (para 12 personas o más). La gran sala de estar con ventanas panorámicas y chimenea le permitirá a nuestros huéspedes ver los impresionantes amaneceres y atardeceres con vista al lago mientras se relaja, refresca y revive. Hay muchas actividades que se pueden hacer, tales como: canotaje, natación, moto acuática, kayak y pesca. También nos enorgullece anunciar nuestro relajante jacuzzi, que puede albergar hasta seis personas y está ubicado en una sala de sol. Mientras desciende por el sótano, verá una mesa de billar / ping pong para aquellos que les gusta jugar. La sauna puede alojar hasta cinco personas donde puede descansar y ganar energía para su vida ocupada. Nuestro sótano tiene puertas corredizas que abren la vista de nuestro hermoso patio y el lago, donde puede sentarse y relajarse.
Traiga su barco o alquile uno en la Marina local y disfrute de 564 acres en Pine Lake. Puede atracar su barco justo en frente de la propiedad. El patio trasero te da suficiente espacio para jugar voleibol o bádminton.

Quite Cozy Relaxing House on the Lake

House was large enough for all of us and is very kid friendly. The location just off the main lake worked out well with 2 boats as they were protected from any harsh weather. The house has plenty of room for everyone and is close to town along with stores. Owner had quick responses to all of our questions.

Family Reunion

The property was as advertised... The house is in a great neighborhood and the amenities were as described. We had 10 Adults, 1 small child and an infant staying in the house for 8 days. There was never a time we felt cramped or had nothing to do. There were even several toys available in the home to keep our 4-year-old granddaughter occupied during quite times. We do wish there were mirrors in the bedrooms and that the downstairs bathroom shower had a shelf for shampoo & soap. However, overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations!

Nice place for a getaway

We had a group of 9 adults for a long weekend and this house was great. There is lots of room to spread out if you wanted quiet time and great space to come together for meals and trash talking. We especially enjoyed the deck area. Thank you again!

Nice Northern Indiana family getaway

After our main summer vacation plans got derailed by a medical situation we put together a quick stay in Northern Indiana. I was able to take my daughter to the outlet malls, my teen son to Valpo U for for a college visit, watched movies,my husband got to fish off the dock with my son, and those were just the rainy days. We also had a great visit up to Indiana Beach which was surprisingly decent. Sand, waves, refreshingly cool but not frigid water , nice breeze, and water views all the way up to the horizon. This house was phenomenal. Plenty of room and plenty of rooms to be together or avoid each other. Any family with teens will know both are important. Pretty views of Pine lake . The ping pong and pool table were both enjoyed, as was the paddleboat. I'd have liked more time out on Pine lake with the kayaks (my daughter demanded we return because she saw a spider in her kayak. Had we taken the time to hose out the kayaks before going out on the lake this would have been a non-issue ) The house had good water pressure in the showers. Having just learned on a recent trip how enjoyable a proper Finnish sauna (dry heat! ) I really enjoyed the in-house sauna. NO one else was game to try it, but that might have made it even better! Kroger and all stores within 10 minutes. The only thing I found slightly odd was that there were no dishrags/dishtowels, only paper towels. All my questions were answered promptly by Sergei. Would love to come back with more family/cousins

Paradise on the Lake

Great experience the house was ideal for our large family. The one thing that would have helped access to the porch door leading to the front parking. Plenty to do both at the house and in town ate at Around the Clock three times. Met the neighbor Frank and two of us being retired Navy we’ll need I say more. Thumbs up would recommend this vacation to anyone who asked me. Thanks

3rd Time Was A Charm

Whole family (6 adults) for our 3rd Thanksgiving at the house. Had a great group over for Wednesday dinner, 25 people ranging from 4 to 91. House was perfect again.

House and property were great! Hosts were very accommodating and communicative. We had a lovely time in all the outdoor areas to hang and dine. It was super kid friendly and had lots of activities for all ages. Definitely recommend.

Family Friendly for ages 3+

We had 18 mo twins and the stairs were a challenge. We brought our own baby gates but they would not fit the wide openings. The downstairs was a colder than upstairs. We really enjoyed the deck with cover. Landscaping was beautiful. Caught a lot of little fish off dock with 5 year old grandchildren. There is no swimming beach. The inside dining table was great. We had 6 adults and 2 children around it but could have sat more. Really enjoyed the fire pit near the house. The sandbox and swingset was a plus for our grandchildren.

Thanksgiving 2022

Our second year in this location and was once again perfect for our family of 6, with our four children 20 to 25 years of age. Relatives over for Wednesday night dinner and a crowd of 20+ fit just fine in the large dining and living room areas.

Great weekend away.

Great property to stay at. We would definitely stay again. The weather was cold so we didn't get to take advantage of the outside activities, but we knew that in advance. We had lots of fun with the Ping Pong table.

House is well kept

The house is well kept - unfortunately it had snowed and the walk/driveway was not cleared prior to our arrival. The owner had someone bring over a shovel asap. It wasn't how we intended on starting our trip, but snow happens! All-in-All we were very happy with the rental & the level of communication!

Unfortunately we didn't have the best time for holidays at this rental. This review is for the future guest, this rental was from the begin a red flag 🚩!!! They required from the begin two different deposits (1000$ and 5000$)insane, and you don't have other options . That's how people make money!!! The owners told as that we damaged things and used too much hot water To use water is not a demage , and they didn't provide pictures with the demage Of course it's hard to show something That doesn't exist After 11 days they made a claim ,but this happend after I called vrb asking why is taking so long to get the deposit back And again this is how people are making money

Family Thanksgiving

My wife and I and our 4 kids (19-24) visited LaPorte for my family’s Thanksgiving as a family for the first time. Had my siblings and all the cousins over Wednesday night. 31 in all for dinner. All fit, a great time. Easy to spread out and enjoy the holidays. Great space.

Spacious and clean

The space was clean and the property management was available and responsive. The main disappointment was that due to Covid we were told the property would be empty for 2 days before we arrived. However when we arrived the cleaning crew was just finishing. So not only was it not empty, we needed to wait outside beyond our check in time to allow the space to air out. The property was well equipped and very spacious. Word of advice - bring lots of bug spray!

Family Fishing/Reunion

We booked this because the children were anxious to fish, and their dads love to fish too. This house was a comfortable size for our six adults and four children ( a family with two adults and two children had to cancel at the last minute). It had a great set up for eating, preparing food, relaxing, and sleeping, with many amenities. A third bathroom would have been helpful, especially if the other adults had come. Adults and children alike loved the kayaks and paddle boat, and fishing off the dock, while others relaxed in comfortable chairs on the lawn. Toddler loved the sandbox! We spent four nights but did not have time to use the fire pits! Arrived on Monday, there was a huge storm on Tuesday evening which knocked out electricity until about 1pm Wednesday. We also spent Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon at Lake Michigan, which was about 45 minutes away. Big hit! Because some of the adults had to work remotely part time during the week, Internet connection was important and satisfactory. Fishing was disappointing because the small part of the lake in front of the house had many weeds and lily pads. Kids caught one large bowfin, a smaller bass( from the kayak) around the bend, and a bunch of small bluegill/ sunfish from the kayaks and dock. We did not rent a pontoon but a friendly neighbor took us for a ride on the main part of the lake! We brought games- did not see any in this house. Enjoyed ping pong. The hosts were easy to reach via text or phone when we had questions. We had a great time and really enjoyed staying in this home.
