We liked this Inn very much because it is very dog friendly, the only suggestion I have to update the breakfast room. The restaurant especially outside seating and the bar area is very nice also it is very convenient to rent a boat. There are many parks around however you ned to drive to them.Do not forget to the town itself because it has restaurants and a great ice cream place.

Property is fine and the view from our room was also great. Only problem we had was the maid service, which was basically non-existent. Somebody came the first day and emptied the trash, cleaned the coffee pot and refilled our coffee supplies. We were there for 4 days and had to go to the front desk every day after the 1st to get new towels, coffee supplies and TP. Our bed was never made up once.

Material condition of the room we were in was very poor. Wall paper was buckling, shower had holes in the wall. Paint was very poor. The bed was extremely to soft and appeared worn out. The T-Bone restaurant was very good.

Great location on the lake, great views. Clean. Friendly. Love the boardwalk bar & grill - good food, live music on weekends. Down to earth atmosphere and friendly people. And "dog friendly". Can rent a pontoon boat at the front desk.We will be back!

Careless

It's a small place and the service staff was attentive, so I'll give them that. But otherwise, the place was defined by carelessness. The remote control in my room was missing. The inside of the cabinet was dusty. But most of all the curtains and blinds in my room just didn't work. When the air conditioner was on ,they blew them up and out so the first floor window was functionally not private. And they did not keep the sun out whatsoever. The room was bright by 6am and I was unable to get a full night's sleep.

It was a beautiful place to stay. The staff was very nice. Had a problem with losing hot water while I was in the shower. My boyfriend asked how long we would be out of hot water and the response was that it would not be long…… all said and done, an hour later I had to pack up my stuff then go downstairs and up another set of steps to finally finished my shower! Then had to pack everything back up and go back to my room..it took them over 4 hours to get hot water back. The staff was wonderful. It kinda seemed that the staff was not notified about the hot water heater being replaced.

There was a cute outdoor bar. The staff was nice, but the overall property wasn’t as clean as i expected. There was a used bar of soap in shower. The beds were squeaky also.
