Arrived later in the afternoon to find a line up at the front desk with only one clerk to deal with the people. There were 2 families who were upset with the hotel's facilities and wanting to cancel their reservations and get refunds. From what I could hear the pool was closed and the key card system was not available. When I went to check in, I found out that the hotel is undergoing an upgrade to their keycard system resulting in nobody getting keys to their rooms and requiring the front desk clerk to take the guests to their rooms and letting them in using a master key. Very inconvenient.
The hotel itself is older and the room décor is dated being in shades of browns and beiges. The bathrooms however appear to have been updated and were very modern. My first room was large with 2 queen beds. As usual it had all the usual amenities except for an alarm clock. In the morning I found that the showerhead was broken which made rinsing off quite a chore. The staff switched me into another room that had a shower stall rather than a shower/tub combination. The rooms do need a refresh as the sofa bed in my second room was stained and there were a couple of burn marks in the carpeting. The beds however were some of the most comfortable I've slept in and they had nice warm comforters.
Breakfast was included and while selection was limited, it did have eggs, sausages, and hash browns.
Would I say here again? That depends.
