I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was respectful and courteous. The room was beautifully prepared, incredibly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower in the room was immaculate. I especially appreciated that in the hotel lobby they included free tea and in the evening would offer free soba for those who wanted a midnight snack. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Uan. It is a Japanese syle hotel, so refreshingly different from the typical western style. The Japanese style breakfast was amazing. It was very comfortable and the location was great for accessing the castle, gardens, and various historic districts. The staff were very friendly.

Absolutely loved this accommodation. It was in a quiet street away from the crazy touristy area yet walking distance to many attractions like the castle,samurai district and seafood market. Also walking distance to local restaurants and 711's for supplies. The room was so well set out with a second powder room with basin, mirror and bench - this made getting ready a breeze. I loved we were provided with Japanese robes, slippers and jackets also. Coffee and juice was provided in reception and free use of bikes. Great place!

We absolutely loved this property best accommodation we have stayed in while visiting Japan. Staff were exceptional and the rooms were very spacious with lots of little extras supplied. The complimentary soba noodles of an evening were a touch.

We felt the location was great, central and easy to get around. It’s not in the hub of activity but that was perfect for us, a more mature couple. We loved the traditional Japanese influence of this hotel. Highly recommend a stay here. There are little restaurants close, and it’s not far to walk to the busier sections as well as Samurai and Geisha

This hotel is virtually brand new and an absolute bargain. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff, brilliant location. The equipment and facilities are second to none at the price. Style is modern Ryokan with sliding doors, tatami style floor and even a little garden by the window.
