What an incredible resort. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The food is delicious and varied. Brown’s Beach House - live music, great selection of seafood and meat, oceanfront view. Hale Kai - casual laid back shareable dishes. Brown’s Deli - strong coffee, fruit. The resort faces Pauoa Bay - the water is calm, clear and filled with fish and the occasional sea turtle and manta ray. It was easy to snorkel here, walk over to the pool, and then enjoy the sunset in the evening. Our room - soft linens, Le Labo products, and turndown service which was a pleasant surprise. Filtered water stations were everywhere for us to fill our complimentary water canisters with. It was our first time on this Island. It is noticeably less busy and crowded than Maui or Oahu, the landscape here is shockingly beautiful, the night sky filled with stars because there is so little light pollution, and the resort is lively enough while also being luxuriously secluded. It is also easy and safe to run outside through a unique landscape, parks with lava tubes and along the shore. I could go on and on - loved it.
5th time here. Resort setting is phenomenal. Small beach and nice pool with a lot of sections to find your own spot. 2 gripes. Our king bed was horrible and I can usually sleep anywhere no problems. It had a large ridge in the middle and the springs were shot. Had it replaced and same issue on the replacement.

Beautiful property with nice waterfalls and excellent grounds keeping. Staff was very helpful and several "gifts" were delivered during our stay, including a bottle of Champaign on two consecutive nights in honor of a birthday. Nice snorkeling from the beach where fish, eels and turtles (honu) can be seen. At night, manta rays put on a show in the bay due to the spotlight that is turned on. Also, the sunsetting is absolutely gorgeous at this property. All keeping in line with the Fairmont Brand.
Great property 5 stars. Only complaint is the liquor drinks have no liquor in them ! All the drinks were terribly weak.
My city kids couldn’t get over the warmth, friendliness, and hospitality of everyone we met during our stay! Bonus points for the incredible vegan menu at Brown’s
The grounds are quite nice. The swimming lagoon is a must. Turtles and many, many, large tropical fish just feet from the lounge chairs.
This is a great place to stay. The hotel itself is very nice, having initially operated as a Ritz-Carlton before being purchased by Fairmont. It’s in a beautiful and convenient location. I’ve stayed here many times and enjoyed every minute. The best part is the beach lagoon. It’s the perfect swimming area, good for all ages.
Incredible stay at this amazing property. Grounds are immaculate, rooms elegant, and private bay very relaxing. Water is calm in this area, and sunsets are stunning. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Amazing stay! Incredible sunset views from the property. Room spacious and had a small ocean view even though it was called “garden view”. Pool and beach facilities perfect.
They went out of their way to insure we enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed the beach/lagoon. Staff was friendly. Room was a little dated, but maintained and cleaned. Skip the breakfast buffet ( overpriced and underwhelming). Appreciated that Foodland was nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
