This was a very cozy house that was stocked with everything needed for a welcoming, comfortable stay. My father was admitted to the VA hospital in Johnson City and I was staying with my 87-year-old cognitively impaired mother. The layout of the house was perfect with a bedroom in the front and another bedroom in the back next to the bathroom for her.It was a very stressful week, but I think the peacefulness of the property and the thoughtfulness of the host, was a blessing. My mother is now in assisted living in the area. I got that accomplished this week and I know that I will be back to this property many times in the future. I’m so grateful to have found it.

The property was a perfect location and fit for my daughter and I while we spent 2 days fishing in the Watauga and the Holston Rivers. The kitchen was adequately stocked for home cooked meals and there was plenty of space in the home for the both of us. The surrounding area was also very peaceful and quiet at night time. A great stay and would definitely book again when in the area! Also, the muffins were a great treat too!

This is such a lovely and warm home. It was perfect for our stay; the kitchen had everything we needed and the host even left us some homemade goodies! The beds are pretty firm, so you might need to pull some pillows from other beds if you need a softer feel.

It was a good stay. We were surprised to see the coffee pot was replaced by a keirog. It made pretty good coffee. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low however the shower was excellent. A very good place to stay.

It truly is a beautiful property we just lived the area as well. Exceptional host with everything needed. Having muffins with our morning coffee was a great touch provided by the host. The color changing tress and we'll maintained property brings a great feel to the home. Very relaxing. Wanted to stay longer but had other engagements to attend. We plan on staying again next year.

This was perfect for our trip. It was close to everything and plenty of room for the three of us. Sara and Marvin were great to work with and Sara even left muffins as a welcome which were delicious! I would definitely recommend and should we be back in Johnson City I will be booking here.

Cozy Home was perfect

Our host thought of everything and the home was great! Close to town but in the country. Right up the street from the Watauga river and parking there. We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us. This is one of the best rentals we have stayed in.

Great stay!

The house was very clean and well kept! Plenty of space and the outside yard was very big! The neighborhood was safe and much to our surprise, a short walk to a beautiful river! It was close in proximity to downtown! Sara & Marvin were easy to get in touch with and were very responsive! The house is well stocked with everything you could need! The banana muffins were a sweet touch! I would recommend this place!

Very quiet and clean

Lovely home in a beautiful area. Extremely quiet and very clean. Beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the extra touch of them leaving us muffins for our breakfast. We would definitely stay at this home again when we come back to the area. We can’t recommend it enough. Host had great communication in the house was easy to access.

Exactly what we needed
