An exceptionally curated environment. Excellent food, earthy/groovy/peaceful music, extremely engaged and helpful staff. Well considered indoor/outdoor experiences, stunning ocean view and beach, rustic chic rooms (we tried both a treehouse and a temple room (slightly preferred) over a long stay. Overall, a truly soulful respite and a destination worth seeking out.

The hotel took a $15000 MXN deposit on arrival as security against spending during our stay. We settled the bill in cash at the end of the stay and were advised the money would be back in our account within a couple of days. It took over 20 emails/messages and eventually the monies were returned over a month later. Appalling customer “service”

Our trip in Holbox was on Nov 2024. We booked one of the treehouse cottage. Pros: First— staff are amazing, super helpful, and very welcoming. 2nd—the resort is top notch. Quiet. It gives that “jungle” type vibe. If you are all about connecting with nature, this is the perfect place to be. 3rd—the way the resort was located, it’s still walkable to their downtown area. Con: November- so many mosquitoes. I didn’t get to enjoy the lounge over the roof because I became the buffet. BRING bug spray. Restaurant in the resort provides healthy eats that are overpriced. The way the bathroom of our treehouse was designed had no ventilation. Worst- there was sewage issues, it was not pleasant.

The property is beautiful and zen. The free breakfasts are great. But…. the hotel is far from town so taxi is needed. The rooms are tiny and bathrooms tinier plus very dark (no sufficient lighting). The huts are very high so only for people who can make the climb. The stars at night are not lit therefore a real hazard.

More like glamping than hotel. Very nice design, but outdoor bathroom was a little scary, especially at night. Loud tourists easily wake you up when they return to their rooms at 4am. Very slow housekeeping, some days the room was not made. The service was kind, but slow. The food was average and needs improvement, Prices are high

I loved everything about this place. Food and Drinks were incredible. Staff was warm and kind. My only complaint would be the availability of lounge chairs/beds on the beach. People would save them at breakfast or during the day leave things to keep them. This should be monitored or you should have extra chairs to bring out if this happens.

We had to cancel our visit at short notice because our family home was lost in the Eaton wildfire. Nobody at Nomade returned our calls or even acknowledged us, let alone offered us a refund, credit, or anything else. These guys are all over Insta and their website talking about the healing spirit of the ocean and all this other new age BS, but they didn't treat us with basic human decency when we had lost literally everything we own. Act accordingly.
