Lovely space. Clean. Adequate towels and face cloths. We didn’t want for anything really! Even tea and instant coffee if you want! Would highly recommend and maybe would stay there again with my family! Excellent experience!

The location is great and the suite generally okay (a little tired and signs of wear and tear). The air conditioning system is a gerrymandered affair which is very loud. Generally good value for money…but…the noise from adjoining rooms was unbearable our first night. We expected downtown noise but we could clearly hear a group of young men partying in the room beside us when in the hallway and in our room at 5pm when we checked in. We reported it to off site security who told us to report it again if it continued after 9pm. It did quiet down in the evening but the raucous behaviour woke us up out of a deep sleep at midnight. We again reported it to the off site security who threatened to evict us if we went to next door to ask them to quiet down! The security people were extremely rude. The noise finally stopped after about 30 minutes and luckily the partiers checked out the next day…but it left us with a bad impression.

If you want to be in the heart of everything that is happening in downtown Halifax, this is the place to stay. But beware - it's noisy because of its location. The property does provide fans which do help to drown out the noise and that was enough to do the trick.

Located in the core district of downtown and walkable to all downtown attractions. We stayed in the room facing back street on weekdays and there was little discernible noise from the local bars. Be aware that this hotel has NO live support if you run into issues. We received the front door entry passcode three days before our checking-in date (after we completed the online check-in) but that code somehow didn’t work. We texted a message for help and was instructed to redo the check-in. Strangely, the code sent the 2nd time works even though it was the same numerical number. Beyond this small hiccup, we were very pleased with our stay in this hotel.

Remote check in is a pain. Lofts are nice and clean. However the building is right next to a busy set of bars. Kept me up all night on Thursday... Good place to party, not so much for business.

Not a fan of the self check in process and how no one is on site to assist you. There is no flooring on the main floor of the room I was assigned. The upstairs was much more put together and 'comfortable'. The drain in the shower is not sloped so the water just sits on the floor. I noticed there is mold along the baseboard in the bedroom that I am assuming is from the pooled water in the shower as these rooms are next to each other. Overall an average stay

Downtown location which was good and bad - no parking at all and luggage was a challenge - close to the sights of the harbour - bed wasn't comfortable for some reason - the suite itself was very kool and the furnishing looked brand new and an excellent kitchen set-up - the A/C was a portable unit and was not efficient at all in keeping the suite cool - it wasn't even hot outside - the was construction all around and inside the property - someone was moving furniture above us at all hours of the night and kept us awake most of the 2nd night - they offered 10 per cent off our next stay - no thanks - will never happen
