Very good place to stay very quiet little bit away from downtown yet public transportation every hour or taxi.... mummys museum walking distance.... Guanajuato great city to visit 🙏

The hotel is average, it has parking but it was a nightmare to park or drive car up the steel hill to park. The hotel staff was sometimes out tending to other matters so office was empty. We spent one night without water because the pump broke and no offer was made to accommodate us in a different room or reimburse us for the inconvenience of spending half the day/ night without water. The hotel is small so the hallway was very noisy.

The staff booked us a private tour with an English speaking guide and it was last minute since we arrived late afternoon. Front staff ordered our pizza to be delivered for us and gave us restaurant recommendations and it was delicious.

In general, this is a good place to stay, if you have a car. Without a car, I'd recommend a place which is closer to the city. The plus with this property is their parking lot. Very few hotels in Guanajuato have one. The neighbors of this hotel have roosters, and they are very, very loud. If your sensitive to noise then keep this in mind.

The property is located walking distance from the museum of the mummies. Edgar the clerk offers to help you with tours of the city and arranges everything from the begining to end. The hotel has strong wifi, parking, hot water. It's clean and you'll feel safe.

I recommend paying before you arrive; the credit card machine wasn’t working. It’s located in a neighborhood so you will wake up to roosters at 6am. My family had rooms 6&7, my only complaint was the showers. They were cement without tile so it smelled musty. Room 6 had a spacious bathroom but 7 was small and the waster leaked out of the shower onto the bedroom floor. They need a shower curtain in there. Overall it was really clean. It was close to the mummy museum and a 15-20 min walk into town.
