Spacious apartment but noisy.

The place is great, very spacious and has everything you need. But I barely slept because of the noise outside (cars continuously passing through the street where the window looks out on, church bells, barking dogs) and noise of the fridge which is almost right beside the bed, constantly cooling. I had to take out the plug. Trips should be relaxing for me so when I'm not able to have a good night sleep, I won't be happy with my stay. If you don't mind the noise, it's a great place to stay.

Great cultural experience

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Casa las Minas. We loved the location as it was a very good workout walking down to the colonial area and back up the hill, great for the exercise! Be prepared to not find a welcome note or any instructions at this place. Check-out was strange as we just left the door window open and threw the keys in after locking up.
