Basic no-frills motel

It is a very basic budget motel, so the expectations bar was low to begin with. The room was clean, relatively well-mantained. Check-in and checkout were ok. It was cold, but the air conditioner did a good job heating the room. It was so loud that we never heard the train the other guests were complaining about. No kettle or coffee maker which surprised this Commonwealth dweller (maybe it is standard in US?). On the plus side, there was a microwave, so with the mug from the Dollar store nearby we were able to get some hot water.

Only had two thin pillows (did provide more on request), no shampoo, the room was very clean and shower was very nice. No fault to the owners but the people staying above us were noisy and walking back and forth half the night.
