This was a lovely hotel in a nice quiet area just a few minutes drive to Kicking Horse Ski Resort. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back! Rooms are comfortable with plenty of natural light and even a Nespresso machine, robes and slippers!

The lodge is under new ownership and doing some renovations, but it has a great location and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The addition of a hot-tub would make the lodge almost perfect.

The front desk staff were consistently pleasant and helpful, the wood‑burning fire in the lobby was such a cozy touch, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. I had everything I needed. The Lodge and Lantern has a grand and welcoming foyer, with friendly staff and a massive warm fireplace, complete with a crackling fire and cozy couch. Our room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed. We enjoyed a coffee before we left. Beautiful river view from our room!
