I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I am at this hotel. This is my third year, using a hotel in Golden and my first time using the Holiday Inn. This hotel is not up to Holiday Inn express hotels that I’ve stayed in in the past, and I am deeply disappointed that the elevator didn’t work. The breakfast was atrocious and inedible.. serious changes need to be made of this establishment to make it even subpar.

I was in room 328 and on going to bed there was a major mechanical noise that even shook the bed, so much so that I needed to call reception and request a new room. The manager was able to move us to room 231 where the noise level was better but not , I was however eventually able to sleep.

All is great except for the pancake maker was broker and there were few choices for breakfast for my son. A little busy and it took time for them to refill the eggs, sausage and yogurt specifically during busy hours. I hope next time during busy hours more staff are they to help.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Very dirty , bed skirts had stains from something, the sheets had stain , they were clean but old stains , the rug in hallway was very dirty and ripped in places , the bathroom off the reception area the blower to dry your hands didn’t work . I’m not one to complain, actually I have never gave a bad review but this was bad . If this is what holiday inn express is turning into then I will be looking elsewhere I have pictures if anyone actually cares

Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when we checked in. We were offered another room, but it had the same smell. Staff sprayed deodorizing spray, but it didn’t help. The room was visibly dirty — splatters on the walls, lamps, bed skirts, and chairs. Overall, it felt extremely unclean and uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

I would have scored higher but the hot tub jets are nearly nonexistent. All the other guests were commenting on it while there as well. Minor in the big picture but the hotel as a whole is very nice. The breakfast is fantastic, rooms are very nice. Hotel is clean and rooms were very clean. We really enjoyed the stay. We will come again.

Bed was co.fortable, room was clean and the breakfast was generous. There are many things to do in the area including the Golden Skybridge and Mountain Coaster within a 7 minute drive. The hot tub was not working bit it was still hot and nice to sit in after a long ride.
