The newly updated rooms, beds and bathroom are really nice and super clean. The restaurant on-site is fantastic. The prices are reasonable considering the uniqueness and quality of the food served. The hotel and restaurant staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Heather Mountain Lodge.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Their restaurant’s chef and waitstaff prepared and served us culinary delights for our dinner and dessert, as well as breakfast the next morning.
The room was clean and comfortable however there was one BIG problem...there is wild fires going on very close by so we could not breath well. The room was not filled with smoke as bad as outside but still could not take the constant smell. We stayed 9/7/17, im sure the air around the hotel will still be smokey for a while
