My husband and I frequently come to Mendocino County. It was our first time staying for four nights at HarborbLite. We did not know what to expect. The hotel personnel was welcoming. Because hotel accommodations have changed relates to room service when you do not stay for more than fuve days we were pleasantly surprised to find the room and the property clean. Any time we needed extra towels and/or linens everything was available. The easy access to the beaches and walkable access to restaurants for good dining was wonderful!

It was great sitting outside on the balcony watching all the wild life. It is very convenient to everything dining the ocean, harbor life. We go to Fort Bragg every year or every other and we always stay hear. The crew are always Great.

The view from our room and balcony was terrific! Unfortunately (and there's nothing the facility can do about it), the road noise from the bridge and the periodic hooting of a foghorn are very prominent when the sliding window is open. The window provides good sound-proofing, but since there's no actual air-conditioning, the room can get pretty warm with the window closed, even in Fort Bragg's cool climate! The mattresses definitely need an upgrade! On the whole, though, an enjoyable stay. Noyo Harbor is a 10 minute walk away if you don't mind going down the steep and uneven stairs on the public path, and of course, you can drive there in five minutes. The location is convenient for trips to Ft. Bragg, the Botanical Gardens, Mendocino, and the various state parks. Good mattresses and functioning air conditioning would make it perfect!
