The view is really nice. You can see the Pacific across the street. At dusk, the sunset behind the old train trestle is rather lovely. That said, this is an older property. While it looks like it has new paint and windows, it's a bit rough around the edges. The property is quite safe and secure-feeling. The staff was truly helpful and really nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

The motel is ok. I dont have anything positive to note that stood out. We were very surprised there was no microwave, i have never stayed at a motel that didnt and certainly expected best western to have one. This made it challenging with our child and i feel it made us spend more on food than we usually do. Front desk service was mediocre, when we went swimming we seemed like a bother asking for towels, and when we asked for an extra he responded "we need to make sure we have enough for everyone" in a rude tone. My thoughts are, if 1 extra towel is going to be a problem, then this motel must not be prepared for its guests. Not the service ive ever experienced at a best western in th past. Also, the balconies have ZERO privacy, like your basically sitting with random strangers out there. Theyre connected by open bars. We will not be staying here again. To be honest motel 6 is similar but much cheaper, and all rooms have a microwave!
Older property that definitely needs updating. Cleanliness was questionable given age of furnishings.
The views were excellent. A peaceful location and just two minute walk to the beach! Hotel just a room, but clean and cozy.
Older hotel, decent room. Pool undergoing renovations. Staff is polite. Road work going on next to hotel so expect some traffic.
Nice cottage room, 3 bedroom and fully equipped kitchen are great for family gathering.
I did not give 5 stars..The room was clean, but it was hot! No aircondition, and for a pregnant woman who’s about to give birth next week needed it most, i was sweating in the middle of the night so i took a cardboard and fanned myself @3am! First time to stay in a room without airconditioning!
