The stay was excellent . Mr Marcio has been an excellent host and very supportive. No doubts to include this place on my next trip to Firenze. The public transport (Bus) exactly on front of this place and 20 min from the city centre, so it is very convenient. Place is clean and comfortable, breakfast, good mattresses, and quit and secure area. This place is genuinely a 5 star place. Excellent service ! FIVE STARS !

⸻ The place was clean enough, but there was a noticeable funky smell in the hallway. The provided shampoo, soap, and towels were very basic, so it’s better to bring your own if you can. Breakfast was decent. The location is a bit far from the city center, though there’s a bus stop nearby—just note that weekend service isn’t very frequent. Also, there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance.

The room was big and the bathroom is big too which is a very good thing to be, the location is very good about 15 minutes with the bus to city center, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, there is a few free street parking slots and there is a paid parking about 6 minutes walking

Marzio was a great host, our room was squeaky clean and very spacious for us 5, two adults 2 teens and a 4yo. Marzio was super helpful with tips and recommendations about places to visit during our stay in Florence. Although the property is not in the main area is pretty close on a bus which the stop is accross the street or by uber our preferred option especially with a little kid; parking was no problem for us. Breakfast was nice and yummy but dinners were my favorite, Marzio and Rosalba prepared some very nice and delicious meals and very authentic Italian. We loved it and we would recommend it and if we could come back again we would for sure stay with them.

Our trip to Firenze was made memorable by our stay at Villa Gelsomino Garden. Our room was clean and spacious. Marzio was a wonderful host who made sure all our needs were met. He gave us great recommendations re: Florence including where to have the best lampredotto (Nerbone in Mercato Centrale) and his rec was spot-on. Although the hotel was not near the city center, it is a convenient bus ride to the city center with the bus stop right across the street. We felt we were in a home away from home. We would definitely book again with Villa Gelsomino Garden if we come back to Florence.

This was the best stay that we had in all of our travels through Europe. The room was spacious, clean and cool. The host was amazing every morning he would cook for us, Whatever we wanted for breakfast. He helped us guide our way through the city helped us find the easiest ways back-and-forth and every day would give us advice. It was a wonderful stay and we were able to check in at 1:30 in the morning. He catered to every need! I would definitely stay there again!

From the time I arrived, Marzio was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure I could get settled in. Marzio was always friendly and seemed to extend his hospitality to all guests with anything they needed. There was a nice breakfast spread and I believe dinner is available if you request it. The room was clean, cool and comfortable (necessary for hot, summer days!) The location is a little ways from the city center but accessible by a local bus or walking down the hill. All in all, i am glad I chose GG for my stay in Firenze!
