The best thing about this hotel was location. Many attractions within walking distance. The rooftop bar has stunning views, especially for sunset. Our room had a great view of three bell towers. Rooms are not very spacious unless one gets a suite. Ours was a standard room, adequate but would have liked more space. We did not have the hotel breakfast as there are many cafes in the area with more affordable fare. The front desk was helpful and tried to accommodate any request. The hotel was built in the 12 century, has interesting architecture and small elevators.

will never forget this vacation and experience, the staff was very knowledgeable and cordial and help us navigate our way thru the city. Tips were great, location and facilities were even more than what we expected

The room was roomy with a gorgeous view of the campanile. Very comfortable and I walked everywhere. The upstairs lounge is petite but has beautiful views of the Duomo. I did notice some hairs from prior guest in my bathtub so I would encourage housekeeping to pay attention to that area. Overall strong experience.

The hotel staff was excellent to work with. No problems checking bags or get directions around town. The hotel room was very nice and had everything needed for a compfortable stay.

This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff friendly, polite, and helpful. Continuously making sure all of our needs were met. Room was amazing, spacious, with breathtaking views. The location of the hotel was just perfect. Less than 0.2 miles away from most major attractions. Overall, my stay at the Grand Cavour Hotel was fantastic from day one until my last day. A must stay hotel and recommend to all. 5/5 Stars

The front staff was excellent. I was greeted immediately and he took the time to tell me about the sites near the hotel. I loved the location - all within a short walk of major attractions. The room could use a little refresh with the bed and the walls. The overall size of the room was great for Europe and the shower was nice and warm.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is attractive, has an excellent location, and the staff could not have been nicer. They were helpful, pleasant and attentive.

The location of this hotel could not be better. Bargello museum, Duomo, Dante Museum, Uffizi Gallery Ponte Vecchio and much more are all very quick walks from the hotel. Breakfast was included in the hotel stay and was delicious and plentiful. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and modernized. The hotel's rooftop bar yields excellent views of the city, the Duomo and the surrounding hills.

The windows are of wood , the noise in the street is terrible , I can't sleep in my 3 night here . The air a condition always turn off you font have a/a in the room , the bath tub is small

Room is tired and hot water is hit or miss. Loud--you can hear people on th street all day and night. But the location and front desk staff are great.

Great Hotel in the center of town, close to all attractions

This hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to all major sights, and many of them are just around the corner. I couldn't recommend the location more. Very nice hotel for the value. I was looking for a low cost option and only paid about $130 a night for a very nice clean and comfortable room.

Good to be close to the sights and restaurants, but was loud at night because people are out late partying... Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

The Hotel was fantastic I enjoyed the view from the rooftop garden. It was close to Dumo and the uffiz

The best things about this hotel is the location, roof top terrace view, breakfast, and beauty of the common areas. We had one of the lower cost rooms, but they were still very nice. Our room was larger for Europe standards at that price range, in a modern style. Hotel is a very short walk to Doumo to left or The Vecchio and Uffizi to the right as you walk out the door. Absolutely perfect location and stunning views from the rooftop terrace bar day and night. Buffet breakfast was excellent! Hotel is a beautiful architecture and don't miss the more than adequate gym. Even if you don't workout, go in and look up at the ceiling. Would definitely stay here again and try a more expensive room next time.

Clean room. Good service. Perfect Location. Yummy Breakfast. Good price. I can't ask for more. Only one issue: hot water will be hot right the way. The shower needed to run about 10 mins to be hot.

The hotel location was excellent; being right by the duomo was very nice. The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful. The rooms and parking weren't as nice. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. I had a room on the first floor that was not nice and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The bathroom was old and not updated, yet the pictures on their website made it look much much nicer than it was. Maybe the first floor is their redheaded step-child floor, but it is definitely nothing like the pictures on the website. The hotel lobby is super nice, and if they would just update their rooms this could be a 5 star hotel (or even a real 4 star). However, this is a typical European hotel, nothing more and nothing less. Based on the pictures I was expecting much more. Also, we drove there and it is quite stressful getting to the hotel. It was very nice to be able to pull directly up to the hotel, but probably not worth the stress of driving downtown. Once it came time to get our car after check out, it took about 40 minutes for our car to arrive (they park it at some remote location). They made us pay in front of the hotel and then walk to our car further down the street (which worried me since I wouldn't be able to inspect the car in front of them). There was a scratch and a lot of paint that had been chipped off of our front bumper (it's going to cost a few hundred dollars to repaint and repair). I looked for the parking attendant but he was long gone and it wasn't worth our time to even figure out what to do (especially since I am sure they wouldn't do anything to repair it). Overall, it was a nice hotel and I would still recommend people to stay there, but don't expect what you see in the pictures and don't drive to the hotel.

Cant beat the location. Can almost touch the Duomo from roof-top terrace where you can enjoy evening coffee and also morning tea. Walk to uffizi and academia and hop-on hop-off stops. if you want pin drop silence in the room, its not for you. if you like people watching, great rooms facing street. sound proofing not that great though. internet in the lobby free with own computer but 5 euro per hour if lobby computer used. great breakfast on 6th floor. walk to railway station, very close and safe.

The bed was so hard and the pillows like sandbags. For 2 pepople thebed was also very small. I didn;t sleep either of the two nights I spent there. I would not go back to this hotel.
