Stay was OK but we felt it was very expensive for the facilities they had to offer. Bathroom door did not even close properly. Only convenience was the location since it was near all restaurants and just 10 mins drive from Rocky Mountain entrance. I would do more research next time

We loved the Trailborn Rocky Mountain hotel, we could walk into town and it was very comfortable. Hotel staff was great and food/bar was awesome.

Rocky Mountain trailborn was the perfect place for us in Estes Park Colorado. We were there to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and it was very easy to get to the park from Trailborn. There is a nostalgic feel to Trailborn since it was once a roadside motel that has been renovated in the best possible way. There is a restaurant and bar onsite that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. S'mores are available at night to toast by the fire. note that things close up early ( by 8:00 PM ) here, even the bar.

Long delay in registering. Over 3 hrs. No ice machine availability for guests. You have to carry an ice bag to office personal who works. To then go to basement to get 1/2 bag of ice for you. Then the Restaurant onsite. Claimed to be open 7a to 8p. NOT THE CASE. One evening, we had been sitting in hotel's back porch area off the Restaurant, enjoying the surroundings. Planning on grabing a quick snack before they closed at 8. At 7:10 with a large table beginning to order. I went to bar to place an order. Was told they were closed and could NOT place an order. This happened on 2 of the 4 days we were there. Soo .. not cool. Nice place. Please fix small issues. Restaurant on property

Trailborn is the rebirth of mid-century classic style updated to modern expectations. The property and rooms were immaculate, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It caters to those seeking a comfortable base camp for adventures in the Rockies and in town My wife and I imagined the lobby 70 years ago was filled with people in flannel shirts and khakis planning their day hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. Today, its a fun mix of families and couples seeking some much needed connection with nature. Gripes are few. Shower water pressure could be better but it’s a minor complaint. Food and drinks were great and there are plenty of places to hang out on the patio to relax after a day of hiking, sight seeing, dining, and shopping.

I stayed at Trailborn for 3 nights at the end of May into June. It’s a convenient location and has all of your basic needs including a big bed, fridge, and hot water. Parking was plenty, rooms are clean. My only advice for people considering to stay here is to make sure you bring ear plugs. We stayed on the ground floor and you can hear everything from your upstairs neighbors, next door and outside. We didn’t eat at the on site restaurant so can’t comment on that but I noticed it’s a very small menu

The location is the best quality and the staff is very friendly. The lobby, bar and outdoor area is very nice and enjoyable. The rooms themselves are nice and have what you need but it’s very noisy when sleeping.
