This place was amazing. Only thing that upset us was the night we crawled in to bed there was a black widow spider crawling on the sheet. We called for service. They said they would come spring in the morning. We were there for three days never heard anything from them.

This is the second time I've stayed at The Blue Door Inn, each time has been very pleasant. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the sheets are so soft and plenty of pillows. The property is clean and well managed, it's quiet and peaceful. Always a nice place to stay.

The room was very spacious but dated. The first night we were without a tv and gas logs. The second night they were able to get everything working. The carpet really needs to be cleaned or replaced. The gentleman working the front desk did try hard to get all issues resolved.

The room we got looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom counter had spackle on it to fill some holes. But the tub shower was brand new. The carpet was old and worn in spots, but the beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. The location was good, the breakfast was a nice option and the desk staff were helpful. We were in the area to hike, so we were just using the room to sleep. It was nothing to write home about and I would consider other options if I returned to the area.

The stay was ok and reasonable. Could be updated and the hair dryer in the bathroom was confusing, all sign needed to say was “has to be plugged in to switch by the sink” instead it said light switch needed to be on but it wasn’t plugged in. Also the phone to the front desk didn’t work and no one on staff at 5 am. To help.
