The hotel was run down compared to the pictures and needed a lot of work. Front door and balcony doors were sticking making it difficult to open, close, and lock. Couch in room was very dirty and needed to be cleaned or replaced. Bathroom sink drained slowly and would backup just from washing hands. Bathroom counter was damaged in multiple places and repaired with putty.

Old motel - partially remodeled - The 2 chairs were old and uncomfortable. Bed was okay. I don’t care for bathroom sink and vanity outside of the bathroom and located in the living/bedroom area. Door was old and had been kicked in before as the latch lock wasn’t working and door jamb chipped and broken off. Apparently there’s no hurry or reason to repair it. The room had an Old musty smell in room. Glad I carry Lysol. While in the small bathroom, a large spider crawled in under the door from the living/bedroom area. Obviously no pest control used. Wouldn’t stay here again. We didn’t bother eating the free continental breakfast. It just looked thrown together and unappealing.

This motel is in a good location..you can walk to shopping and food. Its about 5 miles from the entrance yo Rocky Mountain national Park. The property itself is old and tired. They are renovating it but materials are cheap. Youre paying good money. Go to a more modern place. Our floor was not swept. They redid the floor with vinyl after ripping old carpet out. It was noisey. We could here suitcases rolling and people walking . This place is average. Plus side, there was a big bull elk and three cows in the back yard.

As we knew, this property was a bit rustic. The bed was old and lumpy and there were stains on the carpet. Breakfast was very simple. But the staff was friendly and the location was perfect. All in all, for the price it was fine.

DON’T STAY HERE!!

This hotel was the worst! Old, dilapidated, and run down with staff that are extremely unhelpful. Booked a suite that was listed as being handicap accessible and there were two huge stairs to get into the room. Staff couldn’t understand the problem and wouldn’t accommodate with a different room. They also charged my debit card for the entirety of the stay before we even checked in even though it was a pay at the hotel reservation. They have yet to refund my money from a 3-night stay. Needless to say, this place is garbage.
