I can’t say enough great things about this place! The cottage was clean and cozy, the yard games they have for the visitors is such a nice touch, the fire pit to gather around, the grills they have to use, the location to the entrance to the RMNP…I mean this place marks off all the accommodation needs. Check in and out is a breeze! And they are super easy to communicate with! 5 stars hands down!

Very small but cute cottage. The bathroom is the smallest I’ve ever seen though and kind of hard for a large adult to use. The are was quiet but having the bedroom as the “front” room and only having curtains (couldn’t avoid gaps) made me feel kind of exposed.

We loved the location. The cottage could use some tlc. The thread bare sheets are unacceptable. Soap dispenser, dishsoap and strainer in kitchen were filthy.

Fantastic location close to park entrance with views of the mountains and a coffee shop and restaurant next door. We stayed in the Bear’s Den cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and salt and pepper. Everything was well worn, but clean and useable. Water heater pilot went out, but owner came and fixed it within an hour of being notified- very responsive and helpful. Overall a nice stay.

Very rustic cabin. Important note: No AC. They did have a ceiling fan. It would not have been much of a problem except that we were there during a heat wave. However, overall, it was a pleasant stay. Dog friendly!

I really enjoyed this property! The location was really central for accessing both the Bear lake entrance and the longs peak trailhead. There are four restaurants within the block the cabins are on (all of which had vegetarian options). The space was small and cozy and was enough off the main road that it was quiet at night. All the amenities I needed were provided and the dogs and I had a great trip! The Este visitor center had a good list of dog friendly hikes so we were able to walk around town on the bike path, get 6ish miles in at the YMCA of the Rockies property and hike Crosier Mountain trail all of which were with 15 minutes of the cabins.
