"Breathtaking views and direct beachfront access. If you like turquoise waters and the sound of waves crashing on the beach, Carambola is the place! Charming rooms with high ceilings, open air patios with cushioned benches. Beds were comfortable, water pressure good. Fair amount of walking is necessary, parking was a 2 minute walk, uphill mostly. Staff were friendly enough…service in restaurant was variable…but expect that you will sit and wait for longer than on the mainland. But, the views are so beautiful, and the island breezes so mesmerizing…you will barely notice the time! Honestly…wonderful value, clean, safe, and cared for…I would return tomorrow if I could! "
