Get new comfy mattresses & throw out hard old ones

This hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed with them several times before. She said they were updated/clean. My #1 is having a comfy bed & I guess we did NOT get an "updated" room since we were one night passing through and hotel was full of local workers. Front desk said all booked no other rooms. Had the worse night as hard to get any sleep as bed was so hard and uncomfortable with a stained comforter. Not what you want after a long day on the road.

Fine spot, not wining any awards.

Super nice staff. That's the best part of this place. Looks like it was fairly recently updated as well. Unfortunately even with the updates it REALLY needs a deep cleaning. And there was a horrible smell all through our floor (3rd) and in our room that was off-putting. Also, the water seems to be somewhat brown when it comes out of the faucets. Not the worst place to stay. Good beds, etc. But someone should really invest in a good regular cleaning of tile floors, etc.
