I'll start off by saying, It doesn't look like much on the outside. Typical older style motel with doors opening to the parking lot. I've stayed in hundreds of places in 13 countries and dozens in the US. I have come to realize that there is ALWAYS a certain degree of uncleanliness in every hotel/ motel- and I accept that. Like Hershey's allows a certain amount of i sects in each candy bar: I will tolerate a small degree of dirt. A stray hair on the shower wall, a speckled of toothpaste on a mirror, dirt built up in corners. But this place, it was unique. I could NOT find one single thing. The floor felt clean under my bare feet, no fingerprint smudges on the remote, not even so much as a stray eyelash. I was also quite impressed at how modern the rooms were, despite the outside. And I appreciate that they don't waste. Two towels in a room for two people. Nothing unnecessary. However, it was still appropriately appointed. The bath products smelled good, the towels were clean and there was facial tissues in the bathroom: something left out in more expensive places lately. This place is a little gem in the rough. They could be charging more based on the quality of the accommodations. Not of me of course, but of the rest of you yes.

On vacation, breakfast should be until 10 ar least. Light ip your hotel. It was dark and rainy in an abandoned parking lot. No street lights. It was sketchy and did not feel safe. Hard to find.

What a pleasant surprise! Our car broke down nearby, and we had to unexpectedly spend the night in Dumas before our car could be serviced, so we booked this room at the last minute. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Service was great, and the location was convenient. And thankfully, it was pet-friendly! It was a relaxing stay after a very stressful day.

I made the mistake of not wearing my shoes, my feet were filthy, inside my room. The coffee machine did not work and when we told the morning clerk, he didn't seem to care. When checking out, the same morning clerk, wasn't friendly at all.
